Bimetal fuse The incoming power was blinking off and on due to a storm, it caused the bi metal fuse to fail in the dishwasher when it was not operating, the fuse was replaced with kit #w10258275, now two weeks later the fuse has failed again while operating. These fuses are expensive, I would like to know the value (amps) of these fuses so that the system can checked to try and find out the reason for failure, or maybe you might have an idea where to start. Our GE dishwasher (5 yrs old, Model GLD4250L00CS) only fills with water half way when the unit is started. The inlet valve was replaced with a new one, but that did not solve the problem. When started, the dishwasher fill cycle runs for 41 seconds before the wash cycle begins. Repair workers told us we probably need a new ECU (Electronic Computer Unit). My questions are: Is 41 seconds the correct time for the fill cycle for our model? What else could be the reason for the unit not filling pr

New SHE4AM16UC, professionally installed eight months ago. Worked fine with very light usage until now. Dishwasher starts normally but stops and signals "clean" after less than five minutes on any cycle. One inch of water in bottom that (I think) drains when a new cycle starts. Soap tablets are not ejected from compartment. Bosch authorized repairman says he now has two client dishwashers with identical symptoms and is asking Bosch support for ideas (he's changed pump, control unit, and float sw

Honda CU2400 1-MHC has been sitting in my parents garage for about 2 years. It was used once or twice. It looks new. I tried to start it and it wouldn't. I drained the gas and put new premium gas in it and it started but it won't stay running and the pressure is not what it should be. It doesn't clean as well as the electric one I used last time. So, my problem is, it won't stay running and when it is running it doesn't have enough pressure. Any ideas???

After sitting that long, I'd guess the carburetor linkages etc., are partially seized and the governor is not operating as it should to allow proper RPM's when under load. Real good chance carburetor is gummed up good too. I'd get carb serviced, but ... Pressure Washers

G851 SC Plus started to trip GFI plug. Called Miele and they said there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher and the GFI was faulty. Unplugged from GFI and plugged into regular plug and it worked for a few days. Eventually stopped running. How wrong Miele was, it had everything to do with the dishwasher and not the GFI. It was only warning me a problem was coming. Appliance man came out, noticed water in bottom pan and order new pump, said seal probably gone. Came back, replaced the pump, put d

Our dishwasher was taking in water, circulating it but not heating it up or moving through the cycle. My husband took the control panel off and there were some scorch marks on it so we got a new one. He replaced the control panel and the dishwasher went fine for one night. It heated up and washed everything perfectly. The next day when we put it on it was back to square one plus the lights on the control panel are now not working. Just wondered if anyone has any idea what we could do or are

Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

I have a Kitchenaid Dishwasher M/N KUDS25SHWHO. Had to replace the control board because the unit would not start. Installed the new board and the unit now operates, but not correctly. LG dishwasher LDS4821BB just started making a new grinding sound while washing. No similar sounds while filling or draining, so I wouldn't think it is the motor assembly like many answers suggest. We installed it March 2009. This sound may be similar to one which led to the motor assembly being replaced while still under warranty about nine months ago. Unfortunately, the LG repairman was too hard of hearing to be able to diagnose that replacement, so he did it based on our description of

Code F2 I just replaced the door switch on an inoperable DD-602. My top drawer was working fine, but my bottom one has been offline for a while (door switch failed and I never got around to fixing it since I had the top). Well, my top finally failed too so I replaced both switches. Looks like everything is good on the top, but my bottom is erroring with an F2 code now. Kindof makes a thumping noise as it starts the cycle -- maybe 3-5 short thumps and then a 10 second delay, repeats. Any ideas? C

Blown Motor DW is about 16 months old. Started making some real bad noise. Lasted about a minute and then had a death howl. Called in repair tech who says motor is blown. $399 for repair which includes $125 for the part. I've rebuilt car engines, so can probably replace a DW motor. Any insight on how to replace the motor? is it worth paying 275$ for labor? Just bugs the hell out of me paying $400 bucks for a repair when i can get a new one for $450.

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

I am having the a problem with the bottom drawer on my Fisher & Paykel DD 603SS. Top drains just fine. I cleaned both the drain filter and the hose and it still won't drain. My 12 yr old KitchenAid -Sculptura-Model KUDR24SE starts to fills with water and then does nothing else. It will eventually go through the cycles on the panel, but nothing is happening inside. End result is still dirty dishes with water sitting in the bottom that has to be baled out.
