Having problems with your Frigidaire Dishwashers ?

I have the 4000 Series AquaSurge with speed clean Professional series. I have a white film on the dishwasher and all dishes, glasses and silverware. The right bottom of the door always has a leak about the size of quarter. I have had several repairs and nothing has fixed it. It is 14 months old. How do I get it fixed?

Answers :

I cannot understand Y this dishwasher does not have the dishes come out dry...I have tried every button and it still is not drying as it should.
With regards to the white film, I would check for a soap buildup. Turn the dishwasher on, let it run for 5 minutes or so then open the door and see if there is suds. If there is, pour a half cup of cooking oil in the water and let it finish the cycle. That will clear the suds. It is possible that the rinse agent dispener has failed and is letting in too much jetdry as well. With regards to the leak, install a slash shield in the gasket, part number 154701001. it comes with instructions, really easy to put in and should fix teh problem.

Model 587784100 My 18inch Kenmore apartment-sized portable dishwasher leaks when running and needs a new main rubber gasket (where the door seals the washer), and a new collar of some sort of white hard plastic collar at the very bottom of the spinning washer arm (which I believe helps make it spin more freely and not "chatter"?) My question is: Is it possible foe a handy person to replace these parts (looks fairly easy), or should I get a proper Kenmore/Sears repairman to fix it?

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

I have a washer model 1805 (1800 PSI). Everything works but there is always leaking of water (sprays) when I use it. The leak is not from where the water hose connects to the washer, but where the black piece attached to the hose is connected to the body of the washer. I can still do a decent job of power washing, but am wondering if the leaking of water is reducing the power of the washer.

Yes, leaking water will reduce the pressure. Sounds like you need to replace the O-Ring inside the connections on the pump. This is where the pressure hose connects to the pump. If you look carefully inside that connection you will see an O-Ring. Use ... Campbell Hausfeld PW1805 1800 PSI 15 GPM Pressure Washer

Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

Dishwasher leak My dishwasher has a slight dip leak on the copper hose that rund from the hot water. The leak is between the copper hose and its connector nut. I tired fixing it with plumbers tape but it still leked out the sides of the tape.

Dishwasher leaking We bought our dishwasher in Sep/07, it was fine for a year, then started leaking out the bottom of the door on the left. We had the seal on the door replaced (didn't work) and then the door gasket replaced. That worked for less than a year, now it is leaking again in the same place. What could be going on? Have already put $400.00 repairs into this machine and am reluctant to put more money in to have it break again the same way. What do you suggest?
