Having problems with your Frigidaire Dishwashers ?

Frigidaire 2405 Dishwasher has a direct drain into the floor and is too far from the sink to be able to drain into the sink pipes. Can I add a loop of drain hose from the floor drain up to the counter height, about 30", then back to the floor to mimic the loop that would be created by running to the sink drain? I have been told that these new types of dishwashers require water remaining in the pipes to work properly. Thanks, John

My G832SC is not draining at the end of the cycle. It runs the entire cycle, and the dishes appear to be clean. The soap dispenser has opened and the dishes are rinsed. However, the dry cycle doesn't run because the machine doesn't drain at the end. The intake/drain light is flashing. If I reset the machine and start a new cycle, it will perform an initial drain and the water level does go down. We checked the tri-filter and the valve pump thing, rinsed both. Checked the hose under the sink. We

I have a brand new Blanco dishwasher but im unsure if it is a DWF6XP, DWF4X or DWIN7 model. It does not have a salt dispenser if that helps. Last night when running for the first time i had a plumbing issue where the drain pipe was not set high enough as it states it has to be 500 to 100cm of ground height. Also had a leaking sink drain pipe. Fixed all that and turned machine back on and it pumped all the water that was inside to drain. I have cancelled the program and restarted but now it is ru

I installed a new bocsh dishwasher and garbage disposal. The water is not draining. I routed the drain hose on the floor rather than looping it up the back of the dishwasher, due the short lenght of drain hose.

Shu9925uc/14 bosch dishwasher leaves standing water in the bottom of the pump. The pump seems to be bad because it wont drain out the back hose. I have run the diswasher full cycle and put the drain hose into the sink to test. It wont drain at all now and I dont hear the pump. Perhaps unrelated: Pump seemed to stop working after the back hose disconnected itself from the back of the unit spilling water all over the floor. When I reconnected the unit to the wall the pump now seems to be disfunct

I have a F&P Model DD602I. I had a repairman out to change out hoses that were bad and now I have this problem: When I just run the bottom unit, it works fine, but a bunch of water ends up in the top unit that I have to drain out. If I just run the top unit, water collects in that unit causing a default. Now if I run both units together and I start the top unit about 3 seconds after starting the bottom unit, both units work fine! When I look at the hoses under the sink, they loop down quite a bi

I am trying to install a new Maytag MDBH945AWB Dishwasher and have to run the drain hose under the machine in order to get it to the sink. Each time I try to use the hose that comes with the machine it snaps in two and breaks. I have tried to look for a replacement hose that would stand up to the abuse but all I can find is the original. Is there a replacement I can get that is more flexible than the one that comes with it? At this point I am rather embarrased about going back to Home Depot

Leaking dishwasher There is standing water in the dishwasher when it's not being used. Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. We have to run a wash cycle to drain and dry out the dishwasher. What do you think the problem is?

Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

Maytag dishwasher model MDB7609AWW2 has a blinking clean light. I followed the advice on fixya (thankya!) and by alternating the normal and heated wash buttons I was able to return the lights to normal. However, once I tried to run a normal cycle, it didn't do anything other than fill and drain. I then ran the hot water faucet in the sink until hot and tried another new cycle, but no luck. Any advice is MUCH appreciated!

Dishwasher keeps running I have a Bosche dishwasher and the water keeps running. As long as we run it and don't stop it, the pump will continue to drain about every 3 minutes. The water just keeps running though. If we open it to empty the dishes, the cycle will stop. But the water keeps running, filling the tub, and then overflows, flooding the kitchen and drains through our wood floors to the basement below. Our ASKO seems to have a similar problem. I have a bosch dishwasher SHE43C06UC22 (non-LED version). It's stuck in the drain cycle and continues to run even when opening the door (it should stop, but it doesn't). As a test, I poured a large glass of water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it drained it into the sink as it should, but it continues to run in the drain mode with no water in it. I've heard I either have a float stuck or an emergency drain switch or leak somewhere causing the dishwasher to continue in the drain mode. Ho

My new Dishwasher Won't Drain, ehat to do? I have a GE model GSD2300N00WW dishwasher. A few days ago we noticed that it isn't draining. My dish washer isn't cleaning the dishes well. There are little particals inside of every cup and on dishes after it is done. I just emptied and and now I'm running it with bleach. The drain hose is going uphill from the dishwasher to the sink so I don't know if this is normal to have some water in the drain hose when the washer completes since it's not would have to pump uphill to get to the garba

Honda CU2400 1-MHC has been sitting in my parents garage for about 2 years. It was used once or twice. It looks new. I tried to start it and it wouldn't. I drained the gas and put new premium gas in it and it started but it won't stay running and the pressure is not what it should be. It doesn't clean as well as the electric one I used last time. So, my problem is, it won't stay running and when it is running it doesn't have enough pressure. Any ideas???
