Dishwasher leaks, not the valve, comming from underneith right side. looks like its comming from the sump. Pump seal??

Answers :

There is a seal that goes around the sump that possibly has failed. The part number is 5304460995, however, you should check the screws that hold teh sump to the tub, as they may have come loose. If it's the pump seal leaking, the pump would need to be replaced, as they aren't serviceable

I have a Miele 24 in. G638 Plus Free-standing Dishwasher which is leaking into the pan underneath the machine (and triggering the polystyrene float switch) I am almost certain that the leak is coming from the main pump seal. Is it feasible to replace the seal (it looks like a major job to take the pump assembly apart). I guess Miele labor charges would make the repair not worthwhile Is there a service manual for this machine. I guess I would need it

My frigidaire dishwasher leaks from the bottom right of the door. It forms a puddle while running a load of dishes. Looks like the seal is gone underneath the door on the right side. Any idea how to replace this seal? Thanks.

One possible solution to your problem could be as follows... Could have been little regular soap or something put in that made it suds up causing it to leak out of the front and sometimes not to drain all water out. Pouring vegetable oil into the dis ... My GSD5940Do1ss leaks from what appears to be a tube that is in the middle left of the underside. There are no leaks from the hoses or pumps. It only leaks when it is adding water during the wash or rinse cycle. The part it is leaking from looks like a plastic tube that is part of the tub enclosure. There are four of them and I think they are really the mounting guides for the tub enclosure, which means the water is probably flowing down the tub to this spot. I'm assuming that means my seal arou

Hi ..I have an Excell gas pressure washer model no. Exwgv2121-3 with Faip 2100 psi 2 gpm vertical shaft pump..the problem is that there is water leaking from every weep hole at the bottom of the pump when running. Oddly enough, the pump still puts out significant pressure but less than it should due to the leaking water. What is the most likely cause of this?..is it the high pressure water seal(s)? If so,how do I repair it?

My GE Nautilus DW doesn't fully drain. When it is drained as much as it will it leaves water in the sump at the rear right. If you run the pump at that point, it sucks water out of the sump, but when you open the door and the pump stops water flows back into it. It seems like there is a check valve that isn't working. I have cleaned the sump and the screen which runs accross the rear. I also have taken the plunger out and cleaned it. Then I took the housing for the plugner off the bottom. I don'

I have a Maytag DWU8250BAX and the thing leaks like crazy. I just replaced the door gasket, but that is not the problem. When I took a closer look at the door it seems as though the water is getting up and into the door through a space in the bottom of the door. It seems to me like there should be another door seal to fill a gap that sits between the door hinges. If anyone knows if there should be a seal here and then what the part number might be that would be great. Thanks!

My dishwasher is leaking where the pump attaches to the bottom of the tub. From looking at the parts diagram, my guess is that thepump connector assembly has gone bad. I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

The wash pump is leaking, not at the larger joining o-ring seal, but through the vents in the bottom of the motor just past the blade/rotor. Is there a small o-ring inside that is on the shaft that may be leaking? Is there a schematic breakdown of this motor somewhere? I already ordered a new one, and will "play" with the old one to see if I can fix it, just looking for some direction.
