Our PLD4375RFC2 dishwasher fills up with water but doesn't run

\015 Our PLD4375RFC2 dishwasher fills up with water but then stops. Nothing sounds like it if even trying to come on. Presumably the next thing that is supposed to happen after the water fills up is that water is pumped around the dishwasher and the "water spouts" spin. None of this happens. It is completely dead inside the washer. The timer keeps going down, but nothing happens in the dishwasher. The water and power are both obviously working, and none of the tubes appear kinked. I think that at the end the pump does not pump the water out either. Is there some kind of fuse inside the washer that runs those things, but not the timer?\015

Answers :

No their is no fuse. sound to me like your motor is not working, however
\015\012 the pump should still drain out.push cancel only and unit should drain if it does then id say motor bad. you can try to take apart and check motor blade ive seen toothpics, food , other objects hold motor impeller from turning making it seem like its the motor but actually its just stuck..remove btm wash arm and filter cover thentake two or 3 small screws from a plastic cover covering motor impeller, look to see if anything is in their if so remove. warning if you see a white ball down their leave it alone reinstall and see what happens. hope this helps.
I am having the exact same problem. Except I have a model FDB221RFR2. I did as you said and found nothing in the moter. It moved freely. I put it all back together and still nothing. How hard and expensive is it to replace the moter?

Kenmore dishwasher. The upper rack is not getting clean. Even very light residue remains. And, detergent is left in door at end of cycle. The bottom is filling up, so I don't think it's the intake valve. Also, all the blade openings appear clear. I am noticing that hot water is not filling the dishwasher when I first run the cycle. Even if I have hot water running in the sink, the dishwasher fills with cold or warm water. So, I think this is the problem. What should I do? Thank you in advance!

I find it odd that the dishwasher is filling with cold water if the water is hot at the sink. It sounds like the dishwasher is connected to the cold water line rather than the hot. Check under your sink; if you've got standard plumbing, the dishwas ... Dishwashers

Often these work by reversing the motor which has two pump impellers. One direction will pump the water out and the other will pump it through the spray bar. IF the one pump impeller has broken then that would explain your symptoms. \015\012 ... Kenmore 24 in. 16193 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher keeps running I have a Bosche dishwasher and the water keeps running. As long as we run it and don't stop it, the pump will continue to drain about every 3 minutes. The water just keeps running though. If we open it to empty the dishes, the cycle will stop. But the water keeps running, filling the tub, and then overflows, flooding the kitchen and drains through our wood floors to the basement below. Our ASKO seems to have a similar problem. I started the dishwasher, and the water ke

Champion dishwasher we have a champion freestanding dishwasher at my church. after the cycle is completed, the pressure guage behind the washer still shows 25-30 and it contnues to spray water. not forced by the motor, but more like a stuck open fill valve. if i turn off the water and run it, then turn the water back on, the valve is closed and does not let water freely in. butif i run it with the water on, it will continue to spray in freely after the cycle light goes out and you open the door.

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher (Model Number 665.15634) that will not fill up properly. When I try to run a cycle (any cycle), the first thing the dishwasher should do is fill up with hot water. But in my case, my dishwasher fills for about 10 seconds, then stops. Then tries to fill again for about 7 seconds, then abruptly stops again. And this process goes on and on and on. The dishwasher never fully fills up nor starts the wash sequence properly. I have an Electrolux ESI 6104x. Regularly just after starting the dishwasher as it starts to fill for the first time the water inlet cuts out. If you turn the water off at the mains disconnect the inlet pipe (spilling a bit of water in the process) reconnect the inlet pipe and turn the water back on the dishwasher fills and runs perfectly. This fault used to happen occasionally and now happens regularly.

Disconnect the fill pipe from the back of the machine and you should see a small mesh strainer in side the dishwashers inlet valve. Check that this is not dirty - to clean it pull out the strainer and rinse under the tap. ... Dishwashers

Dishwasher will not fill with water. I've already checked the float assembly, that seems to be working fine. The water just doesn't seem to run into the machine. I have a Bosch SGS43A22 Dishwasher approx 8 years old. When I start a cycle it fills, runs for about 15 minutes, then drops out about a litre of water from the bottom of the door, then completes the cycle without any more leaking. I have run the machine with the front panel off and can see that water bypasses the top of the seal and fills the well of the seal then pours out. It only happens the once. The seal is fitted correctly. Any solutions?

We have a Whirlpool ADP962 Dishwasher that will not fill. I replaced the inlet hose as I thought the solenoid was faulty. It's gone a step further and now sounds like it fills (continuously) however it soon drains without any water entering the dishwashing compartment (this remains dry). I believe this issue was caused by running it through a cycle without the water mains turned on. Any ideas?

Each time we run the machine the water level drains back to the normal amount in the bottom of the washer after the cycle is complete.
