My Bosch dishwasher Model SHE44C02UC just went completley dead while washing. My wife and I were in the living room and heard a ''pop'' and went to investigate. We discovered the dishwasher was completely dead with no lights on at all. The on/off switch does not work. I checked the breaker and it is okay. Also the disposal is also on this circuit and it still works so I know the circuit is okay. There is still water in the bottom of the dishwasher - no suds - so it may have been in a rinse cycle

Hi In the middle of a wash cycle, my dishwasher tripped the circuit breaker on the wall. I diagnosed this by unpluggin dishwasher, plugging in a different appliance and switching circuit breaker back on. new appliance worked OK. When dishwasher had cooled, I tried it again on same circuit (which I knew was working properly). The lights came on for about three seconds, and then the circuit breaker cut back in again, so I knew it was the dishwasher that was causing the problem. Is there anyt

GU1500XTLS3 Periodically won't start. Dishwasher has power because pressing cancel causes dishwasher to start draining (even though there is no water). Door switch works because opening door prevents starting drain cycle. No other button on control panel will work except for the 'air dry' / 'lockout' button. Turning off circuit breaker for 15-30 minutes and then turning circuit breaker back on seems to fix the problems but only for a couple uses and then it stops working again. Need ad

This could be the 'fill switch', which is the level sensor. Could be a plastic tube that exerts air pressure into the tube as it fills, make sure it's clear and open. The dishwasher has a sensor that monitors the door being closed too. Some use a hig ... Dishwashers

Whirlpool model DU960 - from 2001, I think. Stopped running mid-cycle and the cycle lights flash. Won't run. How to fix? If I press 'Cancel/Drain', it flashes that button light. If I press one of the wash cycles again, it turns on the pump for about 1 second, shuts off and the lights flash again. I tried turning off the circuit breaker and turning it back on, but it still won't run. Is this fixable? Do I need to call for service? Or, would I be better off just replacing it?

Hello, Our kitchenaid DW has stopped working. Non of the buttons cause a any of the lights to turn on. Of course, it will not start. On its last working cycle, it had a very strange washing cycle. It almost sounds like the water was not splashing around (even though I opened it while it was working and noticed water at the bottom). I checked the circuit breaker, and it is not tripped. For a couple of weeks, the DW had started making a kind of metallic noise while in the washing cycle. Also,

When trying to start the dishwasher, pressing the Normal wash button, the dishwasher gives a huge clunk and then it trips the circuit breaker. Upon resetting the breaker, I tried the next button over, which is Soak and Wash, and it seems to go thru the cycle fine. Another time I tried the Normal button, but put the left dial on Rinse and it started up, but it would clunk periodically and it seemed to have a 'hot' smell. I'm worried to use it - what could this be? Is there anything else I can try

I have a bosch SHE58C dishwasher. The cycles all work, it fills so the water line is ok, it washes, and it drains so it is not clogged. I cleaned out the sump and it is all clear. However, I think the "brain" or control module is bad. When I try to run a cycle, it does not fill. One other note is that it continues to run when the door is open. Is there a way to reset the "brain"? I've tried killing the circuit breaker

I have an Asko 3251 that is about 4 years old. It has been great up until 2 nights ago when it just keeps running when is has completely cycled. You can open the door and it keeps running. You can push the shut off button and the lights on the controls go out but something keeps running. The only way I can shut it off is by shutting off the circuit breaker. The next morning I can turn the breaker back on and it will be off. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this?
