Having problems with your GE 24 in. GSD4060JSS Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have had no problems with my GE dishwasher for the last 3 years. All of a sudden, when its draining, the water is coming up through the extra knob on the sink. I am not sure what it is called, but it is the unit next to the sprayer on the sink.

Answers :

The drain line between the air gap (thingie next to the sprayer) and the sewer drain piping. If the sink drains fine, the clog is between the air gap and the point at which it connects to the piping under the sink.

When the washer drains it comes out of the, what i thought was just the vent, on top of the sink next to the fouset knob. isnt the water supposed to drain into the existing drain for the garbage dissposal under the sink. we just bought this house with this problem. not sure of the model but figured that the drain would be the same concept.

I've had my Nautilus for 6 years and it cleans very well - but now, it won't drain fully and pools at the bottom of the unit. I have made sure that my garbage disposal was cleared first, too. and that water was draining properly in the sinks. I will need special tools to unscrew the drain filter in the dishwasher, right, or can I just use a pair of pliers to turn the little knobs? I am always careful to rinse all food off the dishes before putting them in the washer, but I guess I wasn't careful

If your model has the screen across the back with the filter, then yes use your fingers or a plier to unscrew the pop up valve assembly at the very back center of the dishwasher. Most likely, the cone shapped part has deteriorated and is not sealing ... GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher

I have a General Electric Potscrubber dishwasher. When the cycle is finished, the water does not drain into the sink.I turned the unit upside down to look into the bottom. The motor turns freely. The instruction sheet I found in the bottom of the unit said to remove the filter screen and check the piston valve. I looked at what I thought was the piston valve, but I'm not sure how to check it. The line to the sink seems to be clear. The model of my unit is GSC3230Z03WW. The serial number is AZ627

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher model KUDS01FLSS2. I finished replacing the door balancer cord and started the dw up and it started leaking underneath from the bottom somewhere around the middle of the unit. This is when it first enters the cycle, so there is no water inside. I pulled the DW out and look at the hoses and components under the DW and all looks in good shape and could not detect any cracks. However noticed that one of the hoses (not sure what the hose is called) that connects to the

My Karcher 411A seems to have lost pressure. Behaviour is this, when you press the water release on the spray gun you get 100% pressure for like 10 seconds and then it seems to dwindle down to 30-40% of its total pressure. When the pressure cuts down I can hear more noise coming from the gun sprayer aswell. So not sure if the problem is in the gun or the main pump unit ?

Bosch dishwasher, Model SMU 7056, UC 09, FD 7309. My older unit has operated flawlessly for years. Two days ago it started to "stall" in one cycle and not progress to the next, e.g., stayed in the wash cycle and would not move on to rinse. In addition the heat generated in the machine was way below normal. A repairman told me that if the water doesn't get hot enough, the unit will not move on to the next cycle. I always use the "Regular Wash" option, but tried other options such as 'Economy

Turns on, the entire cycle runs, but no water pumps through the sprayer. There is water present on the bottom....and I can here the water pumping in at the beginning of the cyle....but the dishes are not being 'washed' by the sprayers. I have disassembled and cleaned the entire inside and sprayers to no avail. Im thinking its a pump/motor issue but Im not sure because the sprayers spin, the heat comes on, the detergent dispenses....but no water is being sprayed. Thanks.
