Having problems with your GE 24 in. GSD4320Z Built-in Dishwasher ?

Our GE model GSD4320Z00B is having a problem with the drain system. I've run the unit in the test mode and it does pump the dishwasher down. The problem is the unit does NOT pump down during a normal wash cycle. The fact that the unit works in test tells me it is not the pump. I've checked all the hoses and drain paths and there are no obstructions, again verified by the fact it works in test mode. Any test that can be used to determine the problem besides replacing parts one by one?

Shu9925uc/14 bosch dishwasher leaves standing water in the bottom of the pump. The pump seems to be bad because it wont drain out the back hose. I have run the diswasher full cycle and put the drain hose into the sink to test. It wont drain at all now and I dont hear the pump. Perhaps unrelated: Pump seemed to stop working after the back hose disconnected itself from the back of the unit spilling water all over the floor. When I reconnected the unit to the wall the pump now seems to be disfunct

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher KUDR24SEBLO does not drain 100%. I have removed the drain hose and chcked the sink P-Trap, [it drains thru the garbage disposer]. Unit is 10 years old, otherwise works fine. I am having difficulty removing the impeller and items above the pump to see if it is clogged. Do you think I have a partially clogged pump or a timer issue that prevents the pump from completely emptying the bottom of the dishwasher? We have run the dishwasher 20-30 times since observing the problem.

Our Asko D3112 was not draining, so we had maintenance drain the hoses to clear any blockage but it did nothing. They said it must be our pump not working. I ran one more cycle to see if things went back to normal, however now our pump won't shut off. We have to unplug the machine just to get the pump to stop. We had a repair technician come to look at the dishwasher and he says that it is a problem with the control panel/computer system. Something tells me it is a merely a loose wire and that w

Our craftsmen electric pressure washer stopped working while in use. We have power - red light on gfci and we tested the master switch - has power too. So what can be the problem? One post mentioned a jammed pump switch. What is that and where is it? We used it 2 weeks ago and it worked fine.

The pump switch they spoke of is an internal switch. It is activated by a valve so that when you let go of the trigger, the machine shuts off. This valve is stuck or the switch is bad. Usually the valve is the problem. I would go to Sears and get ... Pressure Washers

My SB908WL Westinghouse dishwasher is tripping the switch when it goes to pump out the water. What are the likely problems and solutions please! If anyone has some expertise that would be great. (I have recently checked the soldering on the main panel and touched one point up, the rest are fine it seems). The element is working as there is hot water in the unit. We have small kids so maybe something is jammed in there? How do I get access to check. All input helpful. Thanks!

My GE monogram dishwasher won't drain. The (3 different) repairmen who came to my home checked the hoses, replaced the pump and replaced the motor. Nothing worked, and they suggested that the home warranty people replace the unit. The company, however, won't allow me to do this since we don't have a "diagnosable problem". What else can I check?

I have a Jenn-Air JDB9910AWB dishwasher. The problem I am having is everything seems to work fine until the drain cycle. It sounds like the pump is frozen. After selecting the drain button you can hear a click in the control panel followed by a 1-2 second growl in the pump but it doesn't turn or pump. I am assuming the pump runs in reverse for draining? Is it safe to assume the pump is bad?

I have a F&P Model DD602I. I had a repairman out to change out hoses that were bad and now I have this problem: When I just run the bottom unit, it works fine, but a bunch of water ends up in the top unit that I have to drain out. If I just run the top unit, water collects in that unit causing a default. Now if I run both units together and I start the top unit about 3 seconds after starting the bottom unit, both units work fine! When I look at the hoses under the sink, they loop down quite a bi

Hello my dishwasher seems to only do half a job at a time (and the timings for the programmes have increased dramatically). It will do a programme, but not drain, leave a puddle and leave everything dripping wet (no drying) then if I press reset the machine will drain (so the pump is working) but after resetting the problem remains and the programmes continue to not work properly. Can I solve this myself, or is this a problem with the 'computer'? Please help.......!

My Bosch SHX46A06UC/42 stopped working today. I can hear the drain pump constantly pulsing about once every second. I checked the control board and found a relay contacted burned. My SGS55M72AU/65 does not get rid of its drain water, although that wee pump in the bottom is clearly working (which I could see after removing filters and pump cover). There is no blockage near the drain pipe connection, so I infer there is a blockage somewhere inside the dishwasher, in a place I can't get to without further instruction. The pump is working and drains the DW if you pour water into the drain. The problem is that this thing appears to be stuck in "drain" mode always pumping out not advancing through the cycle no matter where you turn the control knob to.

You probably have a stuck solenoid which routes the water either to the arms or out of the machine. It is located near the motor and routes to the drain line. Most are removable and may be disassembled for cleaning. If the control knob does not ad ... Dishwashers

'Dead' DU1100XTP The dishwasher will not start - no lights at all - no indication that anything's working (although I confirmed the unit has power). I've seen numerous posts regarding the control board - is there a problem with these in general? My unit is just beyond the warranty (naturally!) so I'd like to know if there's been any concession made by the manufacturer due to the number of problems.
