GE Titon GSD5560GSS possibly have pump/motor problem?

\015 Dishwasher will fill with water but won't move past ''sensing' to ''washing'' mode (although the light moves to ''washing''). The detergent cup opens but the detergent stays in the cup. Is this a pump problem - it seems like it just won't spray the water around to start cleaning. How do I fix this?\015

Our maytag dishwasher has been a perpetual problem. The door hs been falling apart for along time. We babied it and tried to get it to last as long as possible. We bought an extended warranty last fall. It was not cheap. Recently we contacted a service center concerning the problem because we had not been able to use the washer. Maytag refused to repair or honor the extended warranty. They blamed our abuse on the problem. They have no proof. We have tried to keep good care of it. It ju

I have Whirlpool control board part #8267371. The problem is that the dishwasher does not complete a cycle. A green light on the door will flash. From what I understand it indicates a failure in the heater at some point. I replaced the heater and all I am left with now is the possibility that the control board has failed. So my question is this. Are there common problems associated with these boards ? Which components should I be looking at ? I don't have a schematic. Or is there anyone that can

Yeah, I'm in the middle of that, too. There's a thermal fuse you can check with a meter just above the control panel inside the front door. It should be 0 ohms. Then it's the control board, I guess. Looking for the same one myself right now. I'm goin ... Kenmore 24 in. 16032 Built-in Dishwasher

Our Asko D1716 dishwasher functions to fill and empty but the pump which causes the sprayers to rotate and distribute the water does not function. The local appliance repairman diagnosed the problem as a bad pump (he called it a motor). Since the pump is a $400 part plus labor, is it possible that the problem is something else like a bad motor capacitor or relay? When the cycle calls for the pump to come on, there is no sound except for a very soft hum.

I have a Whirlpool DU1048 that started out with a blinking clean light. I reset the dishwasher by pressing the heated dry and normal buttons twice. That worked the clean light stopped blinking. The problem now is the dishwasher seem to be stuck in the wash cycle. I finally have to turn it off after over an hour washing. Is this possibly a heating element problem? is that user replaceable?

This is a "ventless" system. Our dishes aren't drying in any cycle. There are two door gaskets on this model, one was installed by me under the countertop. I was sure to make as complete a seal as possible, since I did not see a vent on the door itself. What can I do to fix this problem?
