I have model DU810SWPU3 Whirlpool dishwasher that is 1 yr old. Plastic dishes appear to have a film on them when cycle is complete. The water also seems to drain slowly. I assume that what appears to be the filter needs to cleaned but I'm not sure how to remove it to clean it. Is the plastic area with all of the square holes on the bottom of the appliance the filter? That part is what seems to be clogged. Thanks!

Hello, My GE dishwasher stopped draining. Model Number: VSD2304JOOWW I emptied out the dishwasher of the liquid, removed the cover and checked the filter. (Didn't look bad.) Checked the drain pipe under the sink and there was a little debris (slime) but very minimal. The garbage disposal was installed at the same time as the dishwasher 3 years ago (brand new place). GU980 dishwasher I have a buzzing sound when the washer is in drain mode. The manual indicates there might be something in the Power Clean Filter, and that it will go away when the object grinds up. I called Whirpool, and they said the same, and to run for 2-3 cycles to make go away. 2-3 cyles later, noise is still there. I noticed a nub off the rack that looks like an end peice of metal broke off from rust. My guess is it's stuck in the PCF, and will not grind up. I removed the nut, lower spray

My Bosch dishwasher has several problems: 1) Water doesn't completely drain out and dishwasher kind-of smells when I open it -- I do keep the filter very clean. 2) The dishwasher takes HOURS to go through one load, no matter what the time says on the display and no matter what type of cycle you choose -- quick, delicate or regular. 3) The red display often displays something that looks like "2h" at the beginning of the cycle. 4) The place where you put the detergent doesn't shut.
