Thank you so much to Capecodsusan. I used a flat object on the start/reset button and it is working fine. A little bit of a hassle, but it is working.
My delay start switch does not work and the dishwasher beeps periodically throughout the day. Also, I have it set for a 109 minute cycle and after about 20 minutes it says that I only have 35 minutes left in the cycle! Any suggestions?

I have a GE Profile Dishwasher (PDW9200N00WW). A red light for the smart dispenseer of soap just appeared in the status area of the control panel (to the left of the reset/start button). My GE Profile Dishwasher circa mid 1990s will not completely drain. I took the drain cage off and found pieces of broken glass and old food remnants in it. I used a shop vac to **** it all out.
