Having problems with your GE 24 in. Profile PDW9880JSS Built-in Dishwasher ?

My dishwasher (GLD5850L000S) doesn't clean because none of the blades are spinning. Water is coming out of them with great force - the little holes in the blades are unclogged, but they just do not spin!Jacky

Answers :

Hi, W/D here.

Look again at the spray arms. They have slots on the edges of them, near the tips of the arms. Thats what causes them to spin. Most likely, your clogs are there. If you can remove the spin arns, do so, and clean everything over the sink. You'll find it easiest to clear any plugging by back washing it with the sink faucet. Use a toothpick to help dislodge the debris.

Hi there, Ok, i think i'm getting close to solving this problem. I have an LG dishwasher- Model # LDS 5811ST. I have stripped it down and clean all hoses etc. It is running fine through all the cycles. The only problem is that it has no water pressure. In other words water is pumping into the dishwasher but it's like there is no pressure behind it to force it through the holes in the propellers so it's just kind of dumping water out as opposed to having any forced pressure. Hope this makes se

I purchased my KARCHER G2500VH last summer. I used it one time for about an hour. I tried to start it today, seems like its not getting gas. I checked the gasline to make sure gas was flowing. I removed the sparkplug, poured a little gas into the engine through the plug hole. Replaced the plug, pulled the rope and it started for about two seconds. I also poured fresh gas in tank. Cannot get to start.

The upper rack side rail is loose where it attaches to the side wall of the dishwasher. It allows the upper rack to wobble. When the dishwasher is turned on, the force of the water pushes the rack forward so it detaches from the water supply and the arm does not rotate. The arm and connection are all clear and the arm is able to rotate, so those problems are not a factor. The wheels are in good condition. The left rail is a little loose; the right one is very loose. Our top rack is not getting cleaned at all-- although the rinser seems to spin freely when pushed, and fits correctly into the hole back. We were using powder detergent, and a little residue was always left in the compartment. So we tried liquid detergent, to see if it would help, and now it seems like almost none of the detergent is dissolving out, at all. The compartment's full and a goopy mess after each cycle. So now the bottom rack isn't very clean, either! Please advise. Thanks!

I have GE GSD2300r00bb, it was working just fine the other day no unusual noise, today we tried to run it, just a little bit into the cycle, i heard a strange stalling noise that sound like the motor is stuck or something, i put a camera(in a ziplock bag) in the dishwasher to see if the blade is spinning, no spin, the water did squirt for about 1 sec then stop but still leaking out somewater. Is it the motor or the water pump. I just got this dishwasher about 1.5 yrs. Is this something i can fix
