GE GHDA485N 10CS Dishwasher that has standing water in the bottom after the cycle completes. I pulled it out and reconnected power and ran a rinse cycle. I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you

Our kitchen drain clogged recently and water drained back into our VUD141 dishwasher. A plumber cleared the drain, and turned on the DW - which pumped out the standing water. But now, we have no water flowing into the dishwasher. The drain pumps, the heater works, but there's no water supply. The plumber who cleared the drain said he didn't DO dishwashers, and I cannot locate the owner's manual since we prepared for a move.

Magic Chef DU4K is not draining all the water. There's at least a gallon of water standing in the bottom. I have cleaned the air gap assembly and drain line completely. They were even sanitized in hot water. I do not hear the water draining like it use to. When it worked properly you could always hear water draining into the GD. Now I can hear any draining. Again, there is no clogging anywhere in the drain line assembly. Is it a bad pump. I don't know where to go next with this.

I have the GLD 4560 NSS and it is no longer draining. The tub stays completely full. When you start it, the water in the tub is reused then it does not drain. No noise or anything when the draining or filling should actually be taking place. Hoses are not kinked, no leaks, no air vent, it drains directly to the disposal. Everything seems OK but it is full of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My Bosch Classixx (about 10 years old) dishwasher won't fill The problem has only started since I pulled it out and cleaned! The programme sounds are as normal but no water enters the machine. I detected a small leak on the inlet pipe and tightened that. The machine drains when I add water manually though it has made a lot of gurgling noises for some time now when draining. When tipped on its side water comes out of the bottom of the machine (not entirely clear but not dirty either). When upri

Leaking dishwasher There is standing water in the dishwasher when it's not being used. Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. Dishwasher drain is hooked to a food disposer and until recently the unit worked fine. Last week following a cycle a couple of inches of water did not drain out. All food is removed from dishes, silverware, etc. prior to loading and the food trap in the bottom is completely clear. The dishwasher is run 2-3 times weekly whereas the food disposal is

Ran the dishwasher and the water didn't drain completely. Checked the drain line for clog - it was clear. Hello, I have a Frigidaire Dishwasher, model FDB750RCC1. It will not fully drain. There is water in the bottom of the unit after the cycle is complete. As it is not full of water or leaking out of the unit when I open the door I am suspecting it is the pump that has broken? (the water must be draining to the overflow point and then stopping as there is nothing pumping it) Any thoughts or ideas for me anyone? Am I on the right track?

My chef classic dishwasher is not completely cleaning the dishes. There is no obstruction to the tablet/powder door opening, although there is a small amount of powder left at the end of the cycle. Both top & bottom spray bars are clear & rotate, the water is heating & there appears to be plenty of water getting water into the machine. Drain filters are also clear.

My DX303 is constantly bringing up error 30. I have had it apart, and there are no water leaks. If I pour water into it, it will drain no worries, however it seems like it wants to continuously drain with this error 30. Sometimes it will come good and go through its complete cycle hassle free, but it's not now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (2004) and recently it has been leaking internally at a very slow pace. When not in use it will slowly fill until the floor of the unit is filled and then leak onto the kitchen floor unless we press the drain button and then it drains completely. The water seems to be coming from the front of the washer, potentially from the door itself. The amount of leakage is barely discernible but will fill over the course of a 24 hour period.
