GE Profile Dishwasher PDW77700 tripping electrical breaker

\015 GE Profile Dishwasher PDW77700 Started sounding funny and tripping the breaker. Noticed it was dry and the last detergent pellet was lying on the heating element, partially scorched. Replaced the water valve(wrong, it was Ok) and the float switch(right, it was broken). Used the system test to trigger the water valve and it trips the circuit breaker. All the other actions you can engage from the system test work.\015

Hi.

Put back the old water valve. If it is tripping the circuit breaker, then either the inlet valve solenoid is shorted, or there is a contact on wiring.
If you have recently disassembled the control panel, also check the contacts on electronic control board.

Our Dishwasher is not draining. We tried to run a test cycle and noticed there is no power. We checked the Electrical Panel and noticed that an unmarked breaker was tripped. We turned it on but still have no power. All other electrical items are working in the house. Is the power being cut off as a fail-safe function due to the water not draining? How do I fix the drain/pump? Please Help!

Hi In the middle of a wash cycle, my dishwasher tripped the circuit breaker on the wall. I diagnosed this by unpluggin dishwasher, plugging in a different appliance and switching circuit breaker back on. new appliance worked OK. When dishwasher had cooled, I tried it again on same circuit (which I knew was working properly). The lights came on for about three seconds, and then the circuit breaker cut back in again, so I knew it was the dishwasher that was causing the problem. Is there anyt

Leaking FDW60 I have a Hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher. yesterday it tripped our house electrics and then we had water flooding out of the dishwasher. Through a process of elimination I have now discovered that water is leaking from the drainage sump in the centre of the babse down onto the motor or other electrics. I have looked for loose hoses and there are none visible from the base of the dishwasher, can you give some ideas where the water might be coming from?
