Having problems with your GE Dishwashers ?

There is a small door that covers the area where the dishwasher tablet goes and this is not locking - therefore the dishwasher is not running properly (no water).

Answers :

If you are not getting water into the machine you will likely need to replace the water inlet valve. if the soap/rinse dispenser door is not closing properly, make sure it is clean from built up soap etc. if it still doesn't close you will likely have to replace it as well.

Water leak have the Ge triton dishwasher (Model # GSD5320D02BB, bought it n 2001) and currently have very small amount of water leaking out of the door during a run cycle. I did check levels when running and that seems to be fine......meaning the dishwasher is level and not an over-flow problem. My next thought is maybe it is a faulty door gasket. So my question is, where is the door gasket located and how do I replace it? (and where do I order this part from?). Looked for diagrams to follow and

My dishwasher has stopped cleaning plates properly. It makes everything wet but at the end of the cycle the detergent block is half dissolved at the bottom. I have just run a cycle and opened the door during this. The bottom is full of soap suds and water and the top spray bar is dripping water after I open the door but when I close and then reopen a few secs later the top spray bar has definetly not rotated. The water is also not hot, this dishwasher is a cold fed only machine so I guess the el

Dishwasher confused Dishwasher was switched off just after cycle commenced (tablet had been released). On restarting dishwasher, it wouldn't take in water and has just been going through the motions of the cycle without anything happening. Even when the power button on the machine is switched off or the door is opened, the motor continues to run but without water. Water is definitely switched on under sink. I think the computer is confused - can you please help?

I suspect this is nothing to do with switching off during the cycle.take the bottom plate off and check if there is water leaked into the bottom pan. alternatively, if you can, tilt the machine back to 45deg and see if water runs out.most ... Dishwashers

We have a Bosch dishwasher supplied with softened water - does a great job. However, on the most recent run, the soap door didn't open properly and the soap puck (we use those two part liquid/powder that dissolve) was only partially dissolved. Our stainless steel cutlery now has a hazy film all over it, something that handwashing and a subsequent successfully-executed dishwasher run didn't remove. It's expensive cutlery, less than a year old, and a wedding gift from my mother who lives next d

We have a KitchenAid dishwasher (KUDI01FLSS6) which has not been working properly for a long time. We have the dreaded green blinking light mystery. We understand that this could indicate several different problems. We have found that if we run the sink water until it is hot, then start the dishwasher, and then after ten minutes we open then shut the door, it will consistently run the full cycle perfectly. Does this give you any hint of what might be the problem component -sensor, element, the

My Asko D1606 doesn't seem to be filling/retaining enough water to pump actively through the swing arms. When I add a litre or so of water in manually and hold in the door catch, I can see it appear to start working properly. The tablet is still sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle has ended and the dishes are still dirty. The pump sounds all right and it is emptying fine. Also, probably due to the lack of water, the cutlery basket has melted right through, and I am sure any p

Our Bosch dishwasher #SHU9922UC (FD8007) will not turn on properly. Only its drain pump starts -- and keeps running -- when it's powered on and the door's closed. Pressing the two "drain cancel" buttons for more than 3 seconds doesn't help. Neither does cutting off power, then turning it back on in the hopes of resetting the machine's 'computer'. No water inflow occurs. Help?
