Having problems with your GE Dishwashers ?

I have a GE profile dishwasher. The door will close all the way, but it pops open during the wash cycle. Not enough to spill water, but enough to shut off the wash. It is very difficult to open when it's finished as well...Is this a latch issue? Thanks

Have a Bosch shy56a05uc dishwasher that suddenly stopped working to a point. I believe it is related to the door latch switch, because I don't feel the door securely latch shut when I close it, and I also don't get any cycle lights or times registered on the LED readout. If I depress the on switch, the drain pump will start even with the door open, and, depending on how long I leave the switch on, water will start to fill in the dishwasher, open or not.

I have a Kenmore dishwasher 665.17799990. Not enough water was coming in so I thought that I'd check the screen inside the water inlet valve to see if it was clogged. It was. I cleaned it out,but mistakenly opened the wrong part of the valve looking for the screen and took apart the diaphram assembly. Bad mistake. Now I can't get it back together without it leaking like crazy. I can't remember how it was configured to start with. I put it together once, but it wouldn't shut. I can't afford to buy

I've had a Miele G892 SCU PLUS dishwasher for a long time. Today a problem started that results in a flooded floor. Water keeps flowing into the dishwasher - even when the unit is turned off. It seeps in very slowly, but within15 minutes there is enough to overflow & flood the floor. My guess is that there must be some kind of sensor that isn't working, or the coresponding mechanical switch that shuts off the water is worn or slightly stuck open a bit? The dishwasher takes water in (not to much as when you open the door later, there is hardly water visible) and then it sounds as if it is busy heating the water. Then all of a suddden it will trip the power switch on the distribution board. My impression is that it is not takingin enough water and the heating part causes the trip failure. Your comments and advice to resolve will be aapreciated. Planning to open it up this weekend (machine not that old)

Item: Whirlpool Ultra Dishwasher Age: 3 yrs Problem: Not enough water to effectively wash the dishes. State: When the dishwasher is started, the fill valve opens as normal. Only about 1/2 the amount of water is let in when the pump turns on and the washing cycle begins. Opening the door shows that the water level does not reach the bottom of the float. When I close the door, the wash cycle begins again but stops after a few seconds. This is when the water begins to fill again. This time, the wat

Problem: dishwasher (moel MDB6601AWW) will not run. The front panel has a light, between the "Delay 1-9" and "heated dry" buttons, and adjacent to small printed icon (looks like a tombstone with the number 3 inside). Last weekedn I shut off all the water in order to change a faucet, including the hot water feed to the washer. Now the fed to the washer is somewhat frozen -- I can only open it 1/8 turn. Dishwasher Issues My dishwasher is not properly dispensing the dishwasher soap. The flap on the soap container seems to be opening, but the soap is always caked in there after the cycle is finished. I have tried leaving the soap flap open, but that just seems to deposit soap particles on the dishes in the front of the bottom rack. Also, there is often a greasy film left on many of my dishes. Is this a soap issue or a water issue? I am very frustrated! Can you help?

Dishwasher makes grinding noise during wash cycle (after pre-wash). noise persists for 15-20 minutes. It seems as though the inlet valve doesn't open during this phase of the cycle. adding water to the dishwasher manually eliminates the noise and water circulates through the wash arms. I'm trying to determine if this is a controller issue or a valve/pump issue.
