Dishwasher (Model # SHU6806UC), unit is about 8 years old, very light use, less than once a month, and no previous problems. Turned on unit and after about 10 minutes, I found water on floor coming from dishwasher. Turned unit off and turned off water shut-off valve. Removed dishwasher from cabinet. Found mice had chewed a hole in water discharge hose under unit, inspected all hoses, and found another hole chewed in the 13" flex hose in the front of the unit. Also found the float chewed to alm

Sometimes they stay on and the timer in the display window counts down the minutes, but in either case no sounds come from the dishwasher nor does any water enter the unit. We just hooked up our old built in GE dishwasher and the water is shooting out the left side of the unit where the black water hose enters the tub. Shouldn't the water be entering into the wash arm? The hose isn't clogged. It attaches to a white plastic piece that is part of the unit itself. The water is entering both the tub but also shooting out of 2 slits approx 1 1/2" each. located right below where u attach the hose.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a Westinghouse 905 dishwasher (guessing approx 5-10yrs old). When I turn it on it's starts is cycle as expected then stops after about 10mins and loses all power (can't turn it on or get any lights to light up for sometime almost like it needs to cool down) at this point the dishwasher is full of water. It is not the pump however as as soon as you can get power to it (sometimes some hours later) and turn it on the first thing it does is pump out the water. Any ideas??

It is likely the thermal relay is tripping. This could be because if you are feeding hot water to inlet the temperature of water is too high, or the dishwasher heater is faulty and overheating the water. Or it is also possible the thermal cutout is s ... Westinghouse Dishwashers

SHX46B I have a 4 year old Dishwasher that filled up with clean water on it's own and leaked on the floor. There appears to ba a float switch switch on the very bottom of the unit that runs the pump if this happens. It won't stop until I remove the water caught in the plastic base on the very bottom of the unit. Drain is clear and this machine has worked fine until now. I'm thinking it may be a bad or leaky fill valve but how can I check?

Hi, I have a Karcher K3 pressure washer. 18 months old, used maybe 6 hours total. For the past 3 hours of use the compressor/pump seems to cycle audibly but pressure at outlet hose seems constant, hence I did'nt worry. Now it does not start with switch on. I now hear a buzzing sound from the unit. The unit was last used 6 weeks ago. The unit was stored in the garage away from frost, it does not leak water so I don't think there is any frost damage, but just this buzz. Any suggestions would

Dishwasher is 16 months old. Recently, it won't get tea stains from spoons or cups and there is a white film on plastics. I have run unit once with vinegar. I tried using less detergent and no change (Cascade Complete). (Neighbors using same detergnet on different machine with no problems so it's not the water.) I always select High water temp and air dry on normanl wash. My hunch is that the motor is going bad and therefore it is not pushing the water with enough force.

I need to winterize the built-in Kenmore dishwasher in a mountain cabin where winter temperatures will drop below freezing. The unit is at least 10-15 years old, but I don't have the model number handy.
