Your dishwasher will not drain until the end of the cycle. Many\012things may have interrupted the cycle. Check circuit breaker and reset\012it if appropriate. Also check the fuse. It is possible that you could\012have tripped a circuit have way through the cycle. Make sure the door\012is properly closed. Ensure you have chosen a cycle on the dishwasher.\012It is amazing the problems children could accidentally cause, that are\012easy fixes.

I have a Neff Dishwasher and I think the problem is due to the cold water inlet valve. When the dishwasher starts it drains any water and then should stat to fill. If I monitor the voltage to the valve it does switch to 240V but still fails to fill. I have verified that the cold supply works OK and the filter on the inlet is clean. The dishwasher is a NEFF GB5121 and is about 20 Years old.

Dishwasher fills with hot water. Float OK - water feed stops when full. Motor humms but no water spray (in all opperating modes). Cancel selection (with cancel button) and close the door. The water drains then the unit shuts off. Water feed OK. Drain Cycle OK. Looks like spray pump hung but do not know. Cannot find a reset button (as with disposal) or way to free hung pump motor. I did see glass pieces in the drain. Possibly a small piece hanging the motor.

My Kenmore Elite dishwasher (model 665.17462300) is not spraying the water from the basin in the bottom up through the rest of the dishwasher. The basin fills with water, then just makes a humming noise and appears to splash a little of the water around the very bottom of the dishwasher. When we cancel the cycle, it does drain out the water from the basin. I cleaned all the gunk and debris out of the basin in the bottom, but it didn't make any difference.

I have a Kenmore dishwasher model #17519200. I loaded it last night as usual and closed the door. I pressed the wash cycle I wanted and pressed the start button. I heard it starting to fill with water as usual. After it filled with water it should have gone into the wash cycle mode but it just started making a buzzing noise for about a minute or two then just stopped. I pressed cancel to drain it and it drains fine. I have kept trying to re-run it but it just does the same thing I described.

We have a Whirlpool ADP962 Dishwasher that will not fill. I replaced the inlet hose as I thought the solenoid was faulty. It's gone a step further and now sounds like it fills (continuously) however it soon drains without any water entering the dishwashing compartment (this remains dry). I believe this issue was caused by running it through a cycle without the water mains turned on. Any ideas?
