Having problems with your GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher ?

Drain cycles don't end even after the fill cycles start.

\015 I have a GE Nautilus dishwasher, model #GSD3400G00BB. I have found that as the dishwasher goes through the full cycle, that at the times when it should be draining and then refilling with water, that the draining continues even after the filling has started. If I open the dishwasher latch to suspend operation, the solenoid for the draining deactivates, and I can then close the latch and the dishwasher will continue on with the filling as it should. This happens almost every time, but occasionally it will work without my intervention.\015

This is one problem I researched for GE dishwashers and however..it appears to be a universal problem with lots of brands...The float get stuck in one position or the other...you can see it inside the DW...(round like a half round ball....pull it out see if it is gunked up and clean it out replace it and make sure it moves up and down freely...all the while you should here a clicking noise. Anyway here is what I also found...similar or exactly the same as I said but with some extra info that may suit your model.....

The issue was a full overflow trap which pushes up a toilet-style float\015\012and trips a small switch. This effectively freezes the dishwasher in\015\012"drain" cycle and for whatever reason puts the panel on Heated Dry.\015\012Caused by too much soap or accidental or accumulated inclusion of\015\012regular or hand soap (from dishes w/ soap in them in the sink).
\015\012
\015\012Taking off the toe kick and removing a couple panels under the\015\012dishwasher lets you barely see the tiny tray that is the culprit, and\015\012you can sneak paper towels into one edge of it to dry it out and return\015\012it to service.

Hopr this helps...good luck and good day...thank yopu for rating my effort.....The Fang.

Cycles improperly My dishwasher does not cycle properly. It races through the cycles, even when set to pots & pans, in about ten minutes. At first I thought it not filling properly, checked the fill switch, it's fine and water does come in. Then when it's finished it does not always drain completely. I have checked everything on the drain end as well. It seems to have a mind of it's own. I replaced the $145 computer control with no luck. It actually sped up from the original 16 minute ful

Have a Bosch shy56a05uc dishwasher that suddenly stopped working to a point. I believe it is related to the door latch switch, because I don't feel the door securely latch shut when I close it, and I also don't get any cycle lights or times registered on the LED readout. If I depress the on switch, the drain pump will start even with the door open, and, depending on how long I leave the switch on, water will start to fill in the dishwasher, open or not.

I have a kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher, Model 15825691. We were recently hit by lighting. Once hit, the dishwasher started up. Since then, all cycles work, however, at the end of any cycle, the dishwasher continues to run and fill the bottom of the washer up to about two inches and then cuts off, so when we open the washer, there is approx 2 inches of water inside no matter what. I have a Kenmore dishwasher model #17519200. I loaded it last night as usual and closed the door. I pressed the wash cycle I wanted and pressed the start button. I heard it starting to fill with water as usual. After it filled with water it should have gone into the wash cycle mode but it just started making a buzzing noise for about a minute or two then just stopped. I pressed cancel to drain it and it drains fine. I have kept trying to re-run it but it just does the same thing I described.

My G832SC is not draining at the end of the cycle. It runs the entire cycle, and the dishes appear to be clean. The soap dispenser has opened and the dishes are rinsed. I have a Bosch Dishwasher, Model SHE46C06UC. No mater what cycle I start it in, it simply activates the drain and continues to run without ever starting. Within the last week prior to the dishwasher not working, I noticed a low hum/vibration emitting from the dishwasher. I've clean out the screen and drain filter, removed the pump cover to check for any debris. I've manually added water and it does drain. Additionally, the drain cycle continues to operate even with the door open.

My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again. Kenmore dishwasher. The upper rack is not getting clean. Even very light residue remains. And, detergent is left in door at end of cycle. I find it odd that the dishwasher is filling with cold water if the water is hot at the sink. It sounds like the dishwasher is connected to the cold water line rather than the hot. Check under your sink; if you've got standard plumbing, the dishwas ... Dishwashers
