Having problems with your GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher ?

Leaks underneath frount looks like the white tube that has a eletric control for water level

Answers :

I decided to tell you of a generic problem for these models (Nautilus) and this is also a universal problem with every DW ever made,,,,It sounds like you are describing the float...lift the (inverted saucer ..hafl-bowl shaped float) up and listen for a clicking sound as you lift it up and down...you should hear one....if you don't the solenoid is bad...if you do it's good..(.so far)...look inside the float it probably is full of gunk...clean it thoroughly and replace it....(when these get filled with debris they stick in place...and the float is supposed to float to a certain level...which takes pressure of of the solenoid and when it clicks it stops the in-flow of water...if it is stuck(from gookus)..it will allow to much water in and you will develop a leak.
If this does not do the trick...please get back to me...(model #..in hand)

I hope this helps...Good Luck and thanks for rating my effort....The Fang.

Dishlex Global 300 Fills and then stops. faint electrical smell after a while . Checked heating element that I replaced 8 months ago, seems OK. It has 29X? ohms resistance and looks OK. (I am not sure of the reading on my meter but the element is not fused.) Pumps water in and out OK No blockage in pump or filters Water level looks to be low on filling, only part covers the heating element. I tried instruction book on changing water level using the "Eco" button no response as indicated in

You need to open the front cover and check the wiring for any burnt wire, this happen sometimes,if that does not solve then it't either pcb or electric motor causing this smell. You would be better off with a new one then. ... Dishwashers

Kenmore Dishwasher model 665.1675592 doesn't seem to wash as well as it used to. Seems to have a low water level. Filler valve works, allows water in, but never seems to fill enough. No spray reaches top shelf, I think due to insufficient water level. It's like the timer doesn't stay on long enough for it to fill. Also cycle time seems WAY up, but if the timer is slow, how does it time out filling so fast? Looks like it would be slow all the time. Suggestions?

My Frigidaire FDB935RHS0 top rack is not getting enough water (pressure) to rotate the top rack sprayer. We have looked at all the connections under the machine as well as the tubing, but we have not found any obstructions or problems. The water moves very slowly up the tube to the top of the machine and the water only seems to trickle out of the feed line therefore the sprayer doesn't spin or spray. We have disassembled the bottom sprayer and have found no obstructions there either. Do you have

Its a built in and I have opened the inside metal panel and exposed the control unit (PCB) there is no blackened/loose soldered joint to be resoldered. Water leak have the Ge triton dishwasher (Model # GSD5320D02BB, bought it n 2001) and currently have very small amount of water leaking out of the door during a run cycle. I did check levels when running and that seems to be fine......meaning the dishwasher is level and not an over-flow problem. My next thought is maybe it is a faulty door gasket. So my question is, where is the door gasket located and how do I replace it? (and where do I order this part from?). Looked for diagrams to follow and

My GSD5940Do1ss leaks from what appears to be a tube that is in the middle left of the underside. There are no leaks from the hoses or pumps. It only leaks when it is adding water during the wash or rinse cycle. The part it is leaking from looks like a plastic tube that is part of the tub enclosure. There are four of them and I think they are really the mounting guides for the tub enclosure, which means the water is probably flowing down the tub to this spot. I'm assuming that means my seal arou

Maytag HDB8600AWW Dishwasher had been making noise (thought might be water valve, like previous DW), eventually stopped draining water, water now in bottom, I've let sit for couple weeks, looked inside, water was gone, I tried running again, it filled with water, but heard humming control panel noises for first time, then shuts itself off. Also, my handle needs replaced. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks in advance. David Weaver

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

We had a problem with our garbage disposal and it resulted with water leaking from our dishwasher. The disposal is fixed, I removed the excess water from the dishwasher. Smeg e2 error (water level tripped). Filter is clean and no rubbish below filter on inside of dishwasher. I have taken the front panel off but am not sure where the float device is located - I am wondering if it is just to the left of what looks like a solenoid. There is no water in the base of the unit in the front panel so would rule out any leaks. Reset program and turned off power at socket but still not using hot water. Possible PCB issue ?
