We just installed a Fisher & Paykel DD603 dishwasher. Intially it would not drain correctly. And, proceeded to flood the bottom and set off the F1 error code. I dried out the bottom to get the F1 code to stop, which it did. After adjusting the leveling the dishwasher drained both drawers correctly, once. A few minutes after the rinse cycle had finished and the drawers were empty of water the F1 code started again. Now it will not go away unless I unplug the machine. I dried out the bottom very w

Hi! We just installed our LG LDF8812WW built in dishwasher. We ran our first cycle and after the wash cycle the dishwasher displayed error code OE. I read that it meant there is a problem with the drainage, and to check the hose if it is kinked. Well, the hose is not kinked and we have no idea why it would have a problem with the draining. We have the hose set up per the installation instructions. How can we check to for something clogged? Any suggestions?

I actually own an LG LDF8812 myself, except mine is stainless steel, not white. So be it. :-)\015\012\015\012Anyway, it sounds like you have just unboxed the unit and it is brand new, not just new to you. I am also ... LG LDF8812 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher does not drain, instead drains through overflow valve in sink. No apparent clog seen.

Usually the sink connection is not an overflow, it is the main drain from the dishwasher. It is more likely your s-bend is blocked under the sink- try putting a bucket under it and unscrewing the u-shaped piece and cleaning out (remember don't wash i ... GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher KUDR24SEBLO does not drain 100%. I have removed the drain hose and chcked the sink P-Trap, [it drains thru the garbage disposer]. Unit is 10 years old, otherwise works fine. I am having difficulty removing the impeller and items above the pump to see if it is clogged. My asko d3250 thinks the drain hose is blocked. but when i pour water in the dishwasher to see if the water is being drained, the dishwasher is draining properly. Yet the dishwasher after it has drained the water, will shutoff and start flashing the Large Pot icon (drain hose is blocked error code). Is there a sensor that is faulty?

Yes, it sounds like it is to me. I'm not able to pull your model up on my data base,if I could I would be able to tell you where it is located. I would assume that it's located either inside the pump or close to it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. ... Asko Dishwashers

Water won't drain from bottom of dishwasher. I pulled the dishwasher out, blew through the drain tube, disconnected the drain tube and felt around inside. Ok there. The dishwasher has not been in use for 4 months, due to low hot water flow. I replaced a clogged valve today and restored water flow, and I'm wondering if non-use causes a problem with dishwashers?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your DW.Actually, yes. Not using a dishwasher for a while can damage some parts. Sediment from water damages the water valve. Food residues clogs the drain and drain pump. More likely the ... Dishwashers

In between wash cycles, water seems to back up into the dishwasher. I had a plumber take a look at the drain and disposal in the kitchen sink to see if there was an issue there. He suggested to have appliance repair tech to come look and indicated that he believed that the issue may be the "cylianoid" valve. Does the this valve prevent water from backing up into the dishwasher after it has drained?

I have a DU8000XX6 series Kenmore dishwasher that won't drain the water properly. There is about a half inch of water in the tub and the float is raised (not sitting on tub bottom). When I lift up the float a little more I can hear the float switch make. I would assume that when the water is high enough the float switch makes and energizes a solenoid valve in the drain to drain the water, but shouldn't it stay open until all the water drains? Drain problems I have a Kenmore 665.17292992 portable dishwasher. I've changed the filter and the seals however it still does not want to drain. It will drain but extremely slowly and since it's on a timer, it only drains maybe 10% of the water out. My next step was/is going to be the Check Valve... but I am at a loss right now. I thought for sure it would be the filter. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, PM

I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca

A GE triton dishwasher causes hammer noise when stops filling. The sink faucet works fine as do all the other faucets in the house. I cleaned all of the traps in the dishwasher. Because the sink works, I don't think it is a sink valve problem. I turned off the water to the house and drained the system, the air chambers should be good. Is there some component of the dishwasher that could be causing the noise? Would cleaning the pump help? If so, how would I do that?

The cause of the hammering noise, (slamming) is due to the water inlet valve on the Dishwasher (DW) shutting off abrutly once the DW reaches the proper amount of water.\015\012\015\012If this is an older DW, you might want to replace the ... GE Dishwashers
