\015\012Check first the inlet hose. Ensure that there is pressure and that the hose is not kinked.\015\012
\015\012
\015\012Ensure that the door is closing properly and that door lock is working.\015\012
\015\012
\015\012Check the float sensor inside the machine, ensure it is not stuck, the water level switch must be tested using a multimeter to check if the switch is opening and closing.\015\012Depending on model you may have a pressure switch that must also be tested.\015\012
\015\012
\015\012Test the inlet valve. The valve can be tested again reading Ohms at the valve solenoid contacts. If the valve circuit is open, then the valve must be replaced. \015\012If you have dual valve a test can also be done swapping hot and cold connections.\015\012
\015\012If all the parts listed above are fine, then the problem is often the electronic control.\015\012The control is normally tested reading voltages.\015\012
\015\012
\015\012
\015\012All repairs must be done by a technician.\015\012

My dishwasher was recently 'installed'. i don't know if the contractor made a mistake or if the water valve is not turned on, but the cycle tries to start but then no water is flowing into the dishwasher. everything appears to be hooked up, but I think it's the water issue b/c i also have a new refrigerator and the water dispenser/ice maker does not work because no water is flowing into the fridge either.

This sure sounds like a water valve issue, for sure. You will have to trace out the lines (not easy, but possible) and figure out where the valve is. They usually turn left to open, and right to close. I would call the contractor and tell them ... Frigidaire Professional Series 24 in. Built-In Dishwasher Dishwasher

Hi there, The error code 'strong and economy light flicker fleetly' is showing. the manual says that this means too much inlet water. We have drained the machine, cleaned waste pipe and tried to operate with a reduced flow from the inlet pipe but it's still not working. Our Hotpoint Dishwasher Model HDA200X-73BA has two little white plastic pipe stubs poking out of the bottom of the dishwasher. During one of the cycles--(I don't think it is the drain cycle)-- some water is being released from one of these pipe stubs and then it stops and the other one runs some water. They each only run for a few seconds, but the water is just running on the floor. These little pipe stubs are about one half inch in diameter and project out of the bottom of the dishwasher about

Water won't drain from bottom of dishwasher. I pulled the dishwasher out, blew through the drain tube, disconnected the drain tube and felt around inside. Ok there.
