Having problems with your GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher ?

My dishwasher will cycle to the end and it doesnt seem to drain, consequently the coil is under water and it doesnt dry the dishes

Answers :

Hello , the first thing to check is if it drains at all. Find the drain outlet maybe under the sink , disconnect it and set it in a bucket to catch the water if it drains , then start the unit on a cycle and press cancel , this should start the drain cycle , if you get alot of water the problem is in the plumbing where its connected. If there is no water then it could be 2 things , the drains hose is clogged somewhere in the line and needs removed and cleared or the impellar inside the unit is busted. To get to the impellar to check it drain the water out with a sponge or mop , take the racks out from inside and remove all the screws holding the bottom center of the wash system together , there maybe a few layers to go through but when you get to the impellar it will look like a blade or fan of some sort , remove it and check the impellar and shaft it goes on to for cracks or breaks , it may have just came off its hook or has worn out.
\015\012Good luck with it and let me know if you have any other questions.

My G832SC is not draining at the end of the cycle. It runs the entire cycle, and the dishes appear to be clean. The soap dispenser has opened and the dishes are rinsed. However, the dry cycle doesn't run because the machine doesn't drain at the end. The intake/drain light is flashing. If I reset the machine and start a new cycle, it will perform an initial drain and the water level does go down. We checked the tri-filter and the valve pump thing, rinsed both. Checked the hose under the sink. We

When washing dishes, the washer drains okay at the end of the cycle. However, ir seems that for some reason in the mornings we are finding water in the bottom of the dishwasher--sometimes so much that some has leaked out to the floor. When the drain cycle is turned on, the water goes out okay? Any advice?

My Siemens Hydrosensor dishwasher seems to go through the entire cycle but at the end mainly the top rack of dishes, sometimes the bottom rack is completely covered with a film of junk. It ends the cycle with dirty standing water and is not draining.

I have an Ariston LS245 dishwasher, have just had the pump replaced, as it had shorted out, due to water in the bottom tray where the water detection float is, also a new drain hose fitted. Have just run a wash and after running a while, presumably to the end of the rinse, wash and dry cycle, then one of the cycle phase lights, the one for 'soak' blinks constantly. I switched the machine off and had a look to see if a wash had been done, the dishes look clean. In the book it says that if one

I have a Kenmore dishwasher model 66574362K2. It has worked fine until tonight. I opened the door before the end of a cycle, closed the door, and pushed the cancel drain button. There was still water in the bottom but the dishes were basicly finished. Now I can not seem to get the dishwasher to come back on. The lock button seems to be on and it usually is not on. The manual says to push and hold the button for 4 seconds to turn it off. I did that. But now it is flashing between the Heate

Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard - will not drain at end of cycle. After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. Any ideas why it will not drain when I let a cycle run, but will drain once I cycle it through to the drain option?

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

Our dishwasher seems to be stuck in drain mode. My daughter put the wrong kind of soap in it. She accidently put Regular dish washing soap in rather than machine dish washing soap. We've got all the suds out. Seems to drain water just fine. However we cant seem to get it to add water. Does the soap have anything to do with it? Anything I can do from my end? Please Advise. Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. I have a Kenmore dishwasher, model 665.17019401 (serial number FS1002610). It goes through all cycles, drains out water, periodically, and dries the dishesat the end. Our moffat quiet 2 dishwasher has recently developed the problem that the dishes are not cleaned properly. It does drain water. We've opened the drain cover to check that. There does not seem to be a problem there. We've also started hearing a buzzing sound that lasts a minute or so between cycles. (Not between every cycle though) It's random. We rinse our dishes thoroughly before running a cycle. This unit is approx. 5 years old. Any suggestions?

I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I read a few forums and it seemed to indicate the heating element. So I ordered one a fitted it, but still the water is not getting hot, or drying the dishes after the complete cycle. I have done a visual check of the PCB board, which looks clean and good. No error sounds, and it completes all programs, but with cold water and no drying. W
