Having problems with your GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher ?

I've had my Nautilus for 6 years and it cleans very well - but now, it won't drain fully and pools at the bottom of the unit. I have made sure that my garbage disposal was cleared first, too. and that water was draining properly in the sinks. I will need special tools to unscrew the drain filter in the dishwasher, right, or can I just use a pair of pliers to turn the little knobs? I am always careful to rinse all food off the dishes before putting them in the washer, but I guess I wasn't careful

Answers :

If your model has the screen across the back with the filter, then yes use your fingers or a plier to unscrew the pop up valve assembly at the very back center of the dishwasher. Most likely, the cone shapped part has deteriorated and is not sealing properly, allowing water to flow back into the tub instead of all going out the drain. Replace the pop up valve assembly.

Hi, I have an ASKO D3250 dishwasher and it keeps stopping during the wash cycle and flashing the heavy pots and pots symbol simultaneously. I tried cleaning the filter basket and found a little plastic part floating in there that has printed on it PP-T20. I don't know where this piece goes or if it's even the culprit. There is a little bit of water not draining from the filter area when I unscrew the outer filter basket, I cleaned it out, but when I re-run it, it still stops and gives the dual f

Ran the dishwasher and the water didn't drain completely. Checked the drain line for clog - it was clear. Scooped out the remaining water (barely covered the flat wire mesh filter in bottonm of the machine) and cleaned off the canister mesh filter and carefully relocked the filtyer in place. Tried to run the machine last night. Soap tray opened but apparently no water cycled through the machine as all the soap was in the bottom of the machine. I have used my Bosch Dishwasher; [SGS6302 GB/07] [FD 7866 680062] for many years, with faultless performance. Last week, after loading it with Dinner plates, etc. I turned it ON and it declined to start, merely presenting me with an "F" on the display screen. Could find no solution in the (useless) instruction manual. So I guessed that "F" means;- a) Filter (blocked)? b) Fault condition. I've cleaned the filters, checked the power supply, water supply and drain hoses, but nothing seems to

Washer is making grinding noise after start. I found little plastic pieces in the filter in top washer drain. Cleaned it all out including the well which turns the rotating sprayer on. Less noise but it was not eliminated. Is it possible that the drain pump is making the noise? If so how do I get a repair manual to take the pump out and replace it?

My dishwasher (Kenmore Elite 665) doesn't use up all the detergent in the detergent cup - it always leaves a little behind at the end of the cycle. the dishes don't get quite as clean any more, either. I recently replaced my old water heater - we were getting lots of little plastic pieces in our faucet screens.
