Having problems with your GE Profile PDW9880NSS Stainless Steel Dishwasher ?

I Hve a GE profile microwave model JVM192k 004. I know there are 2 mounting screws that are in the cabinate above it but where are the rest of the mounting screws. I have a new one I want to replace it with

Answers :

This is a little strange, but you have to take the grill off that goes all the way across the top front of the microwave. Now, use a slot blade screwdriver to unscrew the two metal rods that go from the front to the back mounting plate. )one on each side of the oven) Microwave should not swing forward and down, allowing you to lift the unit off the back wall mounting plate. Watch out for possible exhaust vent restricting movement of micro forward and down also.

Hello,I hope you can answer the question below for me. My dishwasher is a Hotpoint model BFI680 - integrated. I want to replace the old interlocking assembly with a new one as the spring has broken and I can not close the dishwasher door. I have trouble removing the old interlocking assembly though. I can not see any screws that keep it into place as with other models. Instead, it looks like that it is "clipped" to the dishwasher door via the two inner side round holes at the bottom. Tried to re

Hello! I just ordered a new facia panel for our Bosch dishwasher SHU9955UC/U12. It seems like it should be fairly easy to replace it (meaning, myself...). Is it really just a question of unscrewing the screws on the inside of the door, removing the old panel and then replacing the new one? Are there any especially delicate inside mechanisms/parts That should be protected? Many thanks.

I have purchased a repalcement detergent dispenser-assembly and do not know how to take old one out and relpace with new part. The new part has a face plate that snaps on to the screw mounted base plate assembly which attaches to the door. I need to know how to remove the old dispenser and install the new dispenser without breaking parts and scratching the door. My Maytag model mdb9600aws motor shaft seal is leaking. How do I remove the seal and replace a new one. I am a novist, but I have taken the motor completely out and replaced the seal / gasket that the motor sits in, but there still is a leak. I am afraid the leak is going to destroy the motor as it has corrosion / salt like stuff about the motor. I have attempted to pry the shaft off with the use of 2 screw drivers. I was thinking since I am going to replace the whole motor shaft seal and chop

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner 3. It sat up for a few months because the control panel went out and it took a while to save up and order a new one. Now it blew the thermal fuse. I put a 15amp automotive fuse in it to try it, and it runs until it fills up and blows the fuse again. I am trying to figure out how to test the motor and the heating element to see if they are shorted. My local repair shop told me that they want to replace my new panel with their panel first, and that after that

A 15amp automotive fuse is rated for a 12VDC system in an automobile, not a 125VAC houshold electrical system in an appliance. I don't think your automotive fuse can handle the start current being drawn by the main wash pump as the dishwasher starts ... Dishwashers

The flimsy plastic guide wheels on the rack for my (ca. 2000) GE monogram dishwasher have been breaking. Six so far. GE wants $25 - $30 per wheel to replace and $235 for a whole new rack!! I will not reward this rapacious corporate behavior. Is there an appliance graveyard (like an auto wreck yard) where one can get a used rack? Are there wheel manufacturers/suppliers that will sell reasonably wheels of similar dimensions to the breaking wheels? Preferably in nylon or stainless steel, not the cr

KitchenAid KUDPO1IL dishwasher has a buzzing noise during wash (and rinse?) cycles. Recently had to replace the top spinner (and connecting screw), as it had fallen off, but I think the noise was happpening before that. Today I re-clipped the flat pipe at middle back; one side had come loose. That might have helped a bit. Previously, I took out the bottom spinner and found a 1-2" string-like strip of gray nylon under that. I wanted to check a grinder, to see if something was trapped in that, but

Sears dishwasher 665.15882000 part #8268296 fell off and I can't find the "screw" that holds it in place...probably went down the drain. Now dishes do not "dry" on air dry. My dishwasher's top rotating sprayer keeps coming loose. The screw and plastic bearing fall out and I think that it has stripped out the end where it seats into the top of the washer. Any ideas on how to anchor this in? Adhesive? A larger screw? The plastic bearing is Part No. 568 and the screw is Part No. 569. If I replace the conduit arm (Part No. 585), will that give it a new, clean spot to screw in too? How difficult is it to replace this arm?

I have a sears pressure washer, model 580752300. The pump on the underside vibrated lose and broke a couple screws. It came off and the oil drained out. I replaced the screws and it's ready to go except I can't find out how much replacement oil to put back in. Sears has larger containers but won't tell you how much oil to put in. However, there's a pricey pre-measured container they want to make you buy. Anybody know how much oil goes in that pump?

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

I am trying to replace the GUIDE RAIL BRACKET ASM on my GE dishwasher (model no. GSM1800JWW).
