I tested the voltage going to the heating element and got a 124V reading. However the dishes are still soaking wet after the drying cycle. What am i missing, what else could be wrong with the machine that the dishes won't dry at all?

We have a Kenwood KDW8ST2A dishwasher. We used to get the error code E3 (when still under warranty) and were told not to use dishwasher tablets as it generated too much foam. The problem has been intermittent but now we get the E3 error every time, no matter what program we run, or how little detergent we put in. I've a feeling its not heating up properly, is there any way to check the heating element? Is it worth attempting a repair?

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.

Hi all I have a Dishlex DX302 dishwasher and the dam thing wont heat, checked the heating element (its 26 ohms) was wondering if i could get the wiring diagram emailed to me. Im thinking it might be the control board. [email protected] Thanks ****
Hi silverdragon, re the dishlex 302 not heating or drying Have replaced heating element but unfortunately still cold. If the control panel has not shorted which it hadn't before, do you have any suggestions. My hubby would rather wait before buying a new dishwasher, but I don't want to throw good money after bad. Is there anyone you can suggest who would be able to check out the circuit board to see if i have missed anything.

Reset code I recently had a problem with my dishwasher that required me to use a reset code on my control panel. I can no longer find the manual that tells me that code. I have a 2 year old Electrolux ESL 63010 dishwasher, and it worked perfect until a few days ago, when it did not wash cleanly and the dishes came out cold. I read a few forums and it seemed to indicate the heating element. So I ordered one a fitted it, but still the water is not getting hot, or drying the dishes after the complete cycle. I have done a visual check of the PCB board, which looks clean and good. No error sounds, and it completes all programs, but with cold water and no drying. W

Dishwasher problem Hi We have a Whirlpool GU 2300, the machine has stopped and is the clean LED on the control panel is showing a 7 pulse sequence which I guess is a fault alarm. I have tried resetting, checked the door switch and looked at the pressure sensor at the drain pump outlet. I changed the heating element and fitted an uprated control card earlier this year. Any ideas?
I solved the reset by pressing the air dry and reset buttons 6 times in sequence, the whole panel array lit and I was then able to reset. I have had no problems since and have used it 6 times. I initially thought that the chipset had a volatile memor ... Dishwashers
My Whirlpool Dishwasher's clean light is blinking and it won't start. Is this a common problem? My book's troubleshooting guide says when this happens to contact a service tech to check the heat element. Is that a difficult repair best left to a tech? Thanks, Brian
Long cycles My dishwasher (approx 7 years old) will run in the wash cycle for hours...until I physically turn the nob to "rinse"; then it will stay in that cycle until I advance the knob to the final (expel water) stage. I checked the filter and the blades - no obstructions. Also, when completed, the dishes are hot, so I know the heating element is working.
