Having problems with your General Electric Adora GHDA670N Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have a GE QuietPower2 (Model GLD5800L00BB) and the lights are blinking and there is a beep about once every 60-90 seconds or so. I have reset the circuit breaker but when I turn it back on, same issue. I can't reset or turn on.

Answers :

This model has a known problem with the door switches. There are two switches and they both need to work right, otherwise the panel switches will not work right. Turn off power before working on the switches. They both have to open circuit when the door is open and the both have to close when the door closes. I had to put in some small spacers behind them to get them working right.

The dishwasher starts and initially rinses the dishes without heated water. In the next part of the cycle, the water is supposed to heat to a certain temperature.Beginning this morning, in this second part of the cycle, the dishwasher trips the circuit breaker. If you reset the breaker and turn the sihwasher back on, the breaker trips again. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

We have a KitchenAid KEBC147KSDS06 24" conv. oven. After putting it through a clean cycle, I tried to preheat it to conv, bake @ 350 deg. The display comes up normally and the fan runs, but after 5 sec. the temp disappears from the display and 'Lo' appears in its place. The conv. fan continues to run but neither upper nor lower element heats. Following a suggestion, I tried to reset the oven by turning off its circuit breaker and powering back up, but it did not correct the problem.

It depends how long you had the self-clean function running. The oven is known to overheat and damage the thermostat during self-clean.\015\012\015\012See postings on some user forums.\015\012\015\012 ... KitchenAid 24 in. KUDS02SRSS Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

The controls on my GE GLD4600N10WW have on occasion locked up. In the past, I have resolved this by turning the breaker off and back on. It has now locked up, but won't reset. When the breaker is turned back on, the dishwasher control panel lights indicate "Normal Wash" and "Heated Dry" but the controls do not respond. After several minutes the lights simply go dark. It does not respond to any button pushing.

GU1500XTLS3 Periodically won't start. Dishwasher has power because pressing cancel causes dishwasher to start draining (even though there is no water). Door switch works because opening door prevents starting drain cycle. No other button on control panel will work except for the 'air dry' / 'lockout' button. Turning off circuit breaker for 15-30 minutes and then turning circuit breaker back on seems to fix the problems but only for a couple uses and then it stops working again. Need ad

This could be the 'fill switch', which is the level sensor. Could be a plastic tube that exerts air pressure into the tube as it fills, make sure it's clear and open. The dishwasher has a sensor that monitors the door being closed too. Some use a hig ... Dishwashers

Whirlpool model DU960 - from 2001, I think. Stopped running mid-cycle and the cycle lights flash. Won't run. How to fix? If I press 'Cancel/Drain', it flashes that button light. If I press one of the wash cycles again, it turns on the pump for about 1 second, shuts off and the lights flash again. I tried turning off the circuit breaker and turning it back on, but it still won't run. Is this fixable? Do I need to call for service? Or, would I be better off just replacing it?

Hi In the middle of a wash cycle, my dishwasher tripped the circuit breaker on the wall. I diagnosed this by unpluggin dishwasher, plugging in a different appliance and switching circuit breaker back on. new appliance worked OK. When dishwasher had cooled, I tried it again on same circuit (which I knew was working properly). The lights came on for about three seconds, and then the circuit breaker cut back in again, so I knew it was the dishwasher that was causing the problem. Is there anyt
