Having problems with your Hobart Dishwashers ?

I have a very old domestic Hobart dishwasher. The micro switch that is controlled by the float on the inside left of the machine has malfunctioned . I believe that this micro switch controls the "water in" valve/solenoid. It's ID = UNIMAX 2TMT2002 4 Y , 10 amp-1/4hp 125-250VAC. It's an odd switch as it's lever is about 25mm long and has a paddle on the end to line up with the plunger comming through from the float inside the machine. It also only has 2 prongs for connection and 2 holes fo

Water problem Hi, I have a Jenn air DW 711 that does not get water. I checked the following: Water line: I unhooked the water line and it is clear & free flowing. Float: The float moves up and down as it should. Filter: The filter inside the tub is clean. The motor runs and will drain any water in the tub I put a bucket of water in the tub and the dishwasher immediately drains no matter which setting I choose. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve

I have a Bosch Exxcel dishwasher which runs the drain pump constantly even with the door open and despite there being now water in the machine at the cycle wont start. I have checked the warer amtrix and the ffed hose to the sump for blockages. The float switch operates OK but when the water drains down the float drops and the water is pumped in, then the float rises and water leaks out and the drain pump kicks in again and no more ater will come in unless you push the float down. Dear sir In an attempt to dislodge a blockage of my sewer line using Draino and a plunger some of the Drano ended up in the dishwasher and now the dishwasher will not run. My dishwasher is a SHU3036UC/U12. Door leak I have a small leak between the bottom of the dishwasher door the lower service panel on the dishwashere. I have an Ariston LS245 dishwasher, have just had the pump replaced, as it had shorted out, due to water in the bottom tray where the water detection float is, also a new drain hose fitted. Have just run a wash and after running a while, presumably to the end of the rinse, wash and dry cycle, then one of the cycle phase lights, the one for 'soak' blinks constantly. I switched the machine off and had a look to see if a wash had been done, the dishes look clean. In the book it says that if one

Hi I have a Neff built in dishwasher s5453X1GB/70 about 4 years old. Never had a problem before. Came downstairs last night to find the kitchen floor flooded. Water also still in machine.
