I have a model PW 2200 gas pressure washer. It suddenly lost it's high pressure the other day after working fine for @10 minutes. It's getting plenty of water, but the engine doesn't seem to rev up to give it the high pressure. The operating instructions say to check the oil in the engine, and the PUMP before starting, but I haven't found any place to check for an oil level in the pump????Any ideas, I'm very confused.

My Troy Bilt power washer (using Honda GCV160 engine) has no pressure coming from the pump. I checked the water flow, everything seems fine. I believe the pump needs oil added, however, I can't seem to firgure it out (how to add oil to the pump). I did notice that previously, I used to see drops of oil coming from under the pump. I I have a bad seal, can I add oil and test the pressure before I change the seal? Please advise.

I temporarily misplaced (not lost for good) the owners manual for my honda pressure washer : engine and pump. I do not want to run my machine again until I verify the pump oil content/level. I have a Craftsman 2700 psi pressure washer with a Briggs and Stratton 850 engine (80 year anniversary special addition) . It is about 2 years old and used very little and will not start. I filled it with fresh fuel and checked the oil. I also replaced the spark plug and air filter. I checked the fuel line thinking it may not be getting fuel, but there is no obstruction from the tank to the end of the fuel line. I am out of TS options short of taking it to a service center.
