When I depress the handle on the wand the motor wants to stall

Answers :

Sounds like you have either a sticky unloader valve or a blockage causing back pressure to pump causing excess load to engine,a possibility is to check the nozzle at end of wand incase there is a piece of grit there since engine runs okay with no load, another solution is to check venturi that is located beside outlet of pump that you connect hose for wand to for possible wear or blockage, hope this helps

I have a Husky gasoline pressure washer. The honda motor starts but stalls because the pressure by-pass (not the right term) doesn't seem to open and builds up pressure. I haven't tried to remove any parts yet. I think grit has got in but don't know for sure. The pump looks pretty simple and the part I want to remove for cleaning looks like a plastic hexagon nob. Will this access the by-pass or is it something else.

I think you're right about the knob, but try this:Open the water to the washer. Leave the line open, and hold the trigger down to get all of the air out of the supply and discharge lines. While still holding the trigger down on the spray gun, ... Pressure Washers

The engine starts cold after 2 or three pulls, runs ok initially, but seems to have slightly less power. After a few minutes I can turn off the choke. When teh engine warms up and runs for about 15 minutes, there is a definite power decrease and the motor sounds like it will stall. If I paly with the choke, it does not stall, but has little power to pump water. If the engine does stall or it is turned off, it will not restart until it cools down.

I would first try draining the carb bowl, if you look at where the choke lever is and look below that you should see a clear red tube with a flat head screw below that, if you just turn the screw out the carb will drain. If you still have an issue yo ... Karcher G3025OH Pressure Washer

I have the Karcher 2400 psi, 5.0 Honda engine. Starts fine, but when you pull the handle on the spray wand, the pump does not kick in and the water just continues to trickle out of the end of the wand at regular faucet pressure. Occasionally the "clutch" will kick in and you have full pressure, but if it does and I let off of the trigger then chances are that it won't kick in again. has been getting worse for several years.

My tappan dishwasher is only 1 1/2 yr old and its not getting at least 1/2 of dishes clean. We have tried everything from changing to liquid soap, increasing water pressure at meter, not using while washing clothes. We used a dishwasher cleaner to remove calcium, and run hot water in sink before using. We know the wand, pump and drain are working. It is model TDB210RFB5 with 1.1A motor. Is the motor too small to clean dishes? I wish I could get my money back or exchange for an upgrade. Thanks!
