My Honda 2600 psi power washer will not pull to start. It was running great then I allowed the neighbor to borrow it. He ran the washer till it was out of gas and proceeded to refuel and at this point it would no longer start. I have a Briggs & Stratton gas power washer. This is the 1st time this year that I have used it. I put in fresh gas, hooked up the water supply. The engine started and then quickly stopped. I had to release the water pressure in the hose before I could pull start the engine. The only way to keep the engine running is to hold down the spray nozzle trigger. Once that is released the pressure in the hose builds up and the engine stops.
