Having problems with your Honda Pressure Washers ?

I have a Honda xr2600 power washer. When I tried using it, water was squirting from the top of the gun. I took it apart to find that there are o-rings on top of some kind of washer---looks like a lock washer but it's made of cardboard??? Two of these washers were broken. I can get the o-rings but I can't seem to find the washers. I tried getting the manual for this model on line with no luck. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Answers :

The washers that you describe are made of teflon and are split to facilitate installation and/or allow expansion as they wear. These washers are actually seals and at times are used together with orings to seal high pressure. You should be able to replace washers with teflon tape available at most auto parts or Lumber center and examine orings carefully with magnify glass looking for cuts or rough edges. I believe that most guns were designed to be replaced instead of rebuilt because when water starts leaking, the metal parts of the gun where seals are used get cut similar to water faucet seat. When this happens, the seals will not work. Good luck

Hi I have a Nemo Dishwasher and the top spray arm is not turning. The bottom one is going fine and there is certainly plenty of water getting into the washer as I opened the door with the washer going and it flood me. I can see the water getting into both spray arms - the bottom one has a excellent upward spray and turns - the upper spray arm has water getting into it but it will not turn. I have a frigidaire dishwasher 4000 series aqua surge with speed clean. The small spray arm on the ceiling of the washer came off. I found it sitting on top of some cups in the top basket. There is a loose part inside the retainer in the ceiling that moves back into the retainer when I try to put the spray arm back on. How do I fix this and how do I get the top basket out to work on it?

I was given a low hour, 10 year old, CH PW205002LE 6.5 HP gas vertical shaft 2000 PSI/2.5 GPM pressure washer with a Lavor pump. It did not work - no pressure. I found a broken o-ring on the brass unloader valve and replaced it with a ring as close in size as I could find as the part break down doesn't state size. Everything was very clean. I coated everything with silicine grease and reassembled, seating the brass piston? as deep as it would go. I had to press the trigger in order to get the mo

I got the pressure washer started - lots of smoke etc after not having used 3 years. I then poured in wrong oil to top it off - my brother's chain saw bar oil. DARN. After 3-4 minutes it started rattling and stopped. Can't pull the chord to get started. Did it seize the engine? I have drained all oil. Can I try using a cleaner, light weight oil to try to unlock it?

We purchased an Electrolux Dishwasher Model #EWDW6505GBO, installed on 8/3/10, and we are very dissatisfied with it, as it just does not wash the dishes clean. We have had G.E. Dishwashers, two, since 1961, and then a Bosch, and they have all worked well. It appears that the water is not getting to the top and/or properly rinsing them. We rinse everything prior to putting the dishes in, but coffee cups come out with the ring around the top. The soap doesn't fully disolve. We have tried doub

My Professional series dishwasher does not work properly. It is only 1.5 years old and glasses on top rack get sprayed with fine layer of particles every time I use it. Other items, top and bottom, are often not clean as well, but glasses are the hardest to re-clean. I have tried evacuating the water left at the bottom of the dishwasher before running, pre-running the hot water in the sink and ensuring that the disposal was run, removing and cleaning the filter at the bottom of the washer. Hello, Im trying to diagnose poor cleaning of glasses in the top rack of my Fridigaire FDB751SCB0. everything seems to work fine but while testing I noticed the upper arm isn't spinning. the lower arm is. i believe the pump is working as water is spayed everywhere inside but no matter which position I leave the upper arm in, I find it in the same place when I open the door. what could cause the upper arm to not get water preventing it from spining?

My Whirlpool dishwasher will wash fine, but when it drains, it's a slow trickle. I've snaked the line from the sink to the washer, but I can't find a clog. If I try to blow into the drain pipe all I accomplish is almost passing out. I can't blow all the way through it. When I hit the drain button, I hear the solenoid kick on with a rattle, then just a hum. Like I said, I just get a trickle, and the basin never drains completely. It's driving me crazy! Help? Thanks.

Kenmore dishwasher type 573-D, model 665.16034402. Items on top rack don't get washed. Items on bottom rack are washed fine. Appears top sprayer and maybe middle sprayer aren't getting water. At rear of washer, top rubber flapper valve (which feeds middle sprayer when top rack is in raised position) is stuck open, bottom flapper valve looks OK. We use top rack in raised position so this doesn't seem to be the problem.

The top level is not getting clean. We think the passage to the top water jet is clogged. There are two holes in the back that the washing arm fits into, depending on what level the top rack is set at, and one of them is stuck open. We have not been happy with this dishwasher from the start and are trying to decide if we should get it fixed or just buy a new one.

Each time I try to use the hose that comes with the machine it snaps in two and breaks. Hi, we are trying to install our new Bosch dishwasher model: SMU68M05AU. I am surprised to see packing foam and flimsy edging across the top edge that meets up to the stainless steel door edge when its closed. I can not find detailed installation instructions. Is there not a strip that goes across the top to meet the door as the top looks very ugly? The dishwasher door protrudes from the under bench cupboard space so the top part is in view and exposed.
