Having problems with your Honda Pressure Washers ?

Accidently tipped machine and it cut out. cannot restart. when i take the spark plug out and pull cord oil comes out of port. will it clear itself?

Answers :

Yes you can clear it out. The best thing to do is:
\015\0121 - remove the spark plug
\015\0122 - put a little gas in the plug hole (about a tablespoonful or so)
\015\0123 - pull the cord slowly so the gas can mix with the oil and thin it out
\015\0124 - pull the cord fast several times to blow everything out the spark plug hole
\015\0125 - dry and reinstall the spark plug
\015\0126 - try to start the motor without any choke
\015\0127 - if it won't start go to 1 and repeat
\015\012When it does start it will probably run rough for a while and smoke a lot until it gets everything cleared out of the cylinder. After a minute or two it should run like it did before the incident. Be sure to check the oil level, you probably didn't lose much but better safe than replacing the motor.

Karcher 2400R I have not used my pressure washer for 6 months. It was left full of gas in the garage. I tried to start it but it would not fire up so I change the gas, oil, and spark plug, took apart the carburator and cleaned it out with carb cleaner. I went ahead and put everything together, pull the cord and wanted to start. While trying to start it after I sprayed starting fluid in the air cleaner I noticed that gas was coming back from the crankcase breather hose into the air filter choking

I have an Excell VR2500 pressure washer with B & S 6.5 HP engine. It was running fine, but then stalled out and now will not start. Has clean gas and full oil. I pulled the spark plug it is producing a sufficient spark when starter cord is pulled. Any ideas what might be causing the problem? Please help.

The key things to check are the spark plug, the air filter, the fuel. If those are all new and in good shape then you probably have gum in the carburator. Get a can of starter fluid and a helper. One person squirt the starter fluid into the air in ... Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washers

I have a Karcher 2,600 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer G 2600 VHR that I have used once last summer. I have stored the PW in my basement with no fuel in the gas tank. The PW was never exposed to freezing temps. I cannot get the PW to start. I put new fuel into the tank, the oil is good, I drained the carburetor, and the spark plug works (tested it). I pull the cord and the engine doesn't turn. Fuel value is on, choke is pulled, and the starter switch is turned on. System is practically brand new

My gas power washer will not start. I filled the gas, checked the oil, set the choke, made sure it was on, changed the spark plug, checked the air filter, and drained any water. When I pull the cord to start I don't even get a putter. Anything else I can try or do I need to take it to a service place.

Will it run if you pour a small amount of gas in the carb? If so, it's a fuel supply problem. Most likely a stuck closed float needle. ... Honda Maxus Pressure Washer MX5222

Won start Was using the pressure washer 1st time this year and started on the second pull. Ran out of gas shut-off also noticed it needed oil. Believe, I put too much oil so, I drained some and added gas. At first, there was no resistant in the pull so waited an hour and tried again. This time the resistant was there on the pull but still would not start; no attempt even to turn over. I just purchased a RMV2.5G27D Universal pump. Installation was easy, but I have two questions. 1. No where in the booklet does it say to put oil in it, does it come with oil already inside? There was no oil in the box but the instructions kept refering to 2.2 ounces of oil. 2. It had a red plastic plug opposite the water intake, included was a brass plug that fits into that area, does the plastic plug stay or do I put the brass plug in it?

The red plastic plug comes off, that is the plug that is only used for shipping. You should have got a ventable oil plug to replace that one in the box. The oil you would need is this ... Annovi Reverberi RMV2.5G27D Pressure Washer Pump
