Having problems with your Hotpoint 24 in. HDA3400G Built-in Dishwasher ?

When the water cycle is running there is a white plug by the water inlet that is leaking. When the dishwasher is not in the water cycle it does not leak. When the dishwasher is stopped in the middle of the wash cycle and water in in the bottom of the pan it does not leak. It only leaks when the water is running.

Answers :

Crack in water inlet valve or a pin hole in the hose going from the valve to side of tub spraying water where you see it. You have a holein someting. You need to trace it back to its sourse. When you say "water is running"im guessing thats when its filling with water not just washing.

I have a ge dishwasher model GSD5211 purchased in may 2006. Water appears to be dripping from under the front ss panel to the bottom of thepanel. I cannot open it to check the source of the leak. Alo found that the leak occurs midway of the washing complete cycle. It also seems that the leak during a particular cycle. You may want to inspect the seal around the door to make sure it's not worn out or has some foreign material stuck to it causing it to not make a watertight seal during operation. If you don't see any problems there, then you should pull the machine ... Dishwashers

The lid to the soap compartment for the second soaping no longer opens. How can I fix this? It will no longer start a heavy duty or pots and pans wash. When I tried to run a pots and pans wash, water leaked out from the door. This has never happened on any other wash cycle. This isn't a really old dishwasher. Only about 8 years old.

Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. It is a Bosch Dishwasher SHU series 3200 My problem is the same. Water leaks in to bottom of dishwasher over about a 2-3 day period. The dishwasher runs fine. It does not ever run over. The water seems to stop entering the dishwasher after it reaches a certain level.

You have a bad water valve. When the unit is off, the valve should seal and the water should not flow. Something has gotten in the valve and is keeping the needle up or the diaphram in the valve has deteriorated. replace the water valve and you wil ... Dishwashers

The dishwasher top drawer is leaking all over the floor during the cycle. When the top drawer is running, It fills up the the bottom of bottom drawer with water also and then neither drawer drains completely. The water is a light brown color after a wash and often half the soap is left in the dispenser.

I received a second-hand as-is Akso D3530 (model #107353001) dishwasher. It washes perfectly fine, but at the end of the cycle, it keeps running. It does not seem to be the drain that is running, but rather the circulating pump. I have fully emptied the pan of water (there was only a little in it (you couldn't see it until you removed the sieve) using a turkey baster and it keeps running. I also checked the float sensor in the bottom. The float sensor is not tripped, and when I manually trip it,

I have the two drawer dishwasher. It's about 10 years old. The top drawer continues to work OK but for the last three attempts when I run the bottom drawer water gets out into the drip pan below and gives the F1 signal. I can dry the drip pan out and clear the F1 signal so the top drawer works. But running the bottom drawer causes water to leak again with the resultant F1 signal. There is very little water in the bottom drawer (just a little in the filter bowl) so I think the pump is pumping

My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I emptied all the water out by hand and presuming there is a blockage in the drain tried using a plunger to unblock it. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water. Kenmore dishwasher My Kenmore dishwasher model 630.16302401 is not successfully completing wash cycle. When I hit "normal" and turn it on, water enters the d/w, and the sprayers (both top and bottom), spray water. Approx. 10 mins. later, the water is drained. At that point, it appears that water never again enters the d/w to complete the wash cycle. In fact, the soap in the dispenser does get released, and the door opens. However, the soap will just run down the inside of the door and pool on th

I have an Ariston LS245 dishwasher, have just had the pump replaced, as it had shorted out, due to water in the bottom tray where the water detection float is, also a new drain hose fitted. Have just run a wash and after running a while, presumably to the end of the rinse, wash and dry cycle, then one of the cycle phase lights, the one for 'soak' blinks constantly. I switched the machine off and had a look to see if a wash had been done, the dishes look clean. In the book it says that if one

Leaking dishwasher There is standing water in the dishwasher when it's not being used. Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. We have to run a wash cycle to drain and dry out the dishwasher. What do you think the problem is?

Frigidaire Dishwasher This is my second dishwasher in 18 months. Water leaks out the bottom of the dishwasher. It did it on my first one now it''s doing the same thing.Could it be the water pressure from the city water line? How could this happen to two dishwashers in a row? My Kenmore Elite dishwasher did not drain the water out of the bottom after the dishes were washed last night. Could I possibly have pushed a wrong button to keep it from draining, or do I have a problem? All the dishes were clean. Should I run it through another wash cycle? I've got water standing in the bottom of my dishwasher.

Yes , If the program controller has hung it would have skipped the drain cycle. So try to redo the cycle and see if the drain works, is not check the program controller and the drain valve/pump.- if there is food particles that have clogged and block ... Kenmore Dishwashers

Dishwasher leaking Our dishwasher all of a sudden started leaking. I've taken the front panel off the door and can see exactly where. It's not a hole or anything...it's at the front, left edge of the basin, the bottom left corner at the front. It seems that right after it fills with water, it starts to leak once water is moving around inside and washing cycle starts. It is as if big waves are being pushed to the front left corner and over the lip of the basin. I don't think the water level is to

You said it does not progress...meaning the dial does not eventually move? it may be waiting on a water level sensor to be tripped. The dishwasher is just not filling. The water valve solenoid may be stuck or defective. or a wire may have come of ... Dishwashers

I have a jenn aire jdb1100aws dishwasher that starts but will not wash. It starts, runs quietly but you can hear that the arms are not turning/washing. Hello, my Hoover D7610 dishwasher has developed a problem, I would appreciate your advice. On starting a wash it appears to be working OK through what I believe to be a rinse cycle but then after about 20 minutes water pours out from the bottom of the door. After the 1st cycle there is no more water leaking from the machine but all

I have a bosch dishwasher SHE43C06UC22 (non-LED version). It's stuck in the drain cycle and continues to run even when opening the door (it should stop, but it doesn't). As a test, I poured a large glass of water in the bottom of the dishwasher and it drained it into the sink as it should, but it continues to run in the drain mode with no water in it. I've heard I either have a float stuck or an emergency drain switch or leak somewhere causing the dishwasher to continue in the drain mode. Ho

I have a De Dietrich DV640JE1 built in 45cm Dishwasher, working fine for over 3 years. After replacing the connection under the sink to fix a leak it has stopped working.
