Having problems with your Indesit Dishwashers ?

The dishwasher takes water in (not to much as when you open the door later, there is hardly water visible) and then it sounds as if it is busy heating the water. Then all of a suddden it will trip the power switch on the distribution board. My impression is that it is not takingin enough water and the heating part causes the trip failure. Your comments and advice to resolve will be aapreciated. Planning to open it up this weekend (machine not that old)

Usually ,there will be a float in the bottom of a dishwasher that shuts down the waterflow when it has received enough water. it works just like the float in a toilet tank (if you are familiar with that) you are definitely on the correct path in thinking that the low water issue is your electrical issue. if that heating element isnt submerged in water it will cause this problem. there is also a screen in the water inlet valve that could be slowing the water intake. the timer only allows for a certain amount of time for the water to come in. after that it fires up the pump good luck

The dishwasher starts and initially rinses the dishes without heated water. In the next part of the cycle, the water is supposed to heat to a certain temperature.Beginning this morning, in this second part of the cycle, the dishwasher trips the circuit breaker. If you reset the breaker and turn the sihwasher back on, the breaker trips again. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Whirlpool dishwasher part #3385181. Machine had gone thru wash cycle and was starting to dry. Smelled electrical burning smell, opened washer door and washer was filled with smoke. Turned everything off, cleared smoke, and the washer water dispenser is very hard to turn. Washer has symptoms of burnt up motor that turns water dispenser. Machine is 12 years old. With cost of replacement motor and possible part (pump?) that might have clogged and caused motor freeze up, is it worth fixing or junk

Tricity Bendix DH090 water valve closes too early. Insufficient water causes program to stop before first heating cycle. If I switch off, open the machine & pour an extra pint of water in, shut the door & switch on again the wash takes place and completes perfectly to specification. OK so the problem seems to be that level detector No 1 switches off the water inlet valve early and level detector No 2 (apparently) halts the cycle since it detects insufficient water in the machine. I cannot see t

I have a GE Triton XL dishwasher that is not spraying water onto the dishes. I just reset the power, and that didn't help. Putting it on the rinse only or wash cycle fills the bottom with water, but it sounds like a trickle vs. the spray. The heating element comes on and the soap door opens, but there's not spraying. I made sure there was nothing clogging the water line or other parts. What do you think is wrong?

I have a GE dishwasher model GLDL560N10SS. I noticed a burning smell coming from it the other day and then realized that although I can hear water running into the dishwasher when I start it, it never actually runs in the sense that the water is pushed through the various outlets to wash the dishes. I'm assuming that it is because the unit is dry and the heating element is still coming on that it is causing a burning smell. If I open the unit and reset it, it pumps the water back out into the si

I have a GE GSD2000J01WW Dishwasher in a building with low water pressure. The inlet hose is 3/8" OD. The heating coil gets too hot and gives off a bad odor as there is not enough water at start up. I just bought a used Kenmore standalone dishwasher and ran it for the first time. The dishes on the top did not get clean and the soap did not come out of the closed soup dish. at one point I took a shower and was wondering if that might have influenced the water pressure enough to cause the problem. Is the soap supposed to open during the wash and could the poor water pressure prevent the top shelf from getting properly washed?

The inlet filter is probably clogged. Try letting it fill up. Open the door to stop it right after it starts to wash Pour a gallon or two of hot water in and see it it works better Stop and do this everytime it goes to fill up. If the door opens ... Dishwashers

I have a Kenmore dishwasher 665.17799990. Not enough water was coming in so I thought that I'd check the screen inside the water inlet valve to see if it was clogged. It was. I cleaned it out,but mistakenly opened the wrong part of the valve looking for the screen and took apart the diaphram assembly. Bad mistake. Now I can't get it back together without it leaking like crazy. I can't remember how it was configured to start with. I put it together once, but it wouldn't shut. I can't afford to buy

Hello, Our kitchenaid DW has stopped working. Non of the buttons cause a any of the lights to turn on. Of course, it will not start. On its last working cycle, it had a very strange washing cycle. It almost sounds like the water was not splashing around (even though I opened it while it was working and noticed water at the bottom). I checked the circuit breaker, and it is not tripped. For a couple of weeks, the DW had started making a kind of metallic noise while in the washing cycle. Also,

Hello, we have a Frigidaire dishwasher Model# FDB1250REC2. There was all kinds of junk down in the lower filter area and when I tried to remove the parts they all came out together and then fell apart. I need to see how the parts go back together, because I thought I had them in there correctly, but when I opened up the dishwasher after running it the water sprayer was laying on the heating element. Could you please help me get it back together right? Thank you

During circulation, top drawer seems to leak water through the rubber seal, located on the lid assembly. What would commonly cause this problem. Would it be the actuator, yoke, seal, etc... Please answer only if you've seen enough of this problem, with this model, in particular.
