Have a Bosch shy56a05uc dishwasher that suddenly stopped working to a point. I believe it is related to the door latch switch, because I don't feel the door securely latch shut when I close it, and I also don't get any cycle lights or times registered on the LED readout. If I depress the on switch, the drain pump will start even with the door open, and, depending on how long I leave the switch on, water will start to fill in the dishwasher, open or not.

Incomplete cycle My Miele dishwasher (3 to 4 years old) finishes, leaving the dishes dirty and wet. It seems that it may only be running through part of the cycle - I'm not sure but from the time I set it going to the time it switches off, it seems shorter than usual. The dishwasher is not emptying as it has a pool of water in the bottom. I have tried various settings and have the same problem. the inlet/drain light DOES NOT come on. I have soaked up all the residue on the bottom and cleaned out

Stopped mid-cycle by blowing fuse. Cannot remove water from machine. Every time I switch on it blows the trip again. I tried leaving it for a while in case water had got into the electrics but after about one second the fuse went again.

Can be the drain valve/ drain pump is faulty and so since it is in this cycle the drain current is too much for the fuse to blow.\012So recheck by disconnecting the valve and putting fuse in , if the fuse stays then it is confirmed. if not the ... Miele 24 in. G645SC Plus Free-standing Dishwasher

My old Neff dishwasher S4132 is constantly taking in water even when switched off! I can drain it ( every hour!) by putting it to drain cycle but have to turn off the mains supply when leaving it even for a short time. Awaiting a plumber as the tap to isolate the supply has broken but am interested to know if a new aqua stop will solve this problem or could it be something else??

Asko 1555 Dishwasher will not drain. Bottom of kick panel pan will fill with water triping the float switch?, leaving an error code. Is it safe to assume that the out pump needs replacing. I had the kick panel off and smacked the motor housing a few times and it ran for a few loads, but is now again stopped working.

It might be the pump, or it might be an obstruction elsewhere. If you have an air gap on your sink/counter top, open it and check for debris. If it is clear, unscrew the main filter basket. There is a black plug on the left side of the bottom well ... Dishwashers

My dishwasher is beeping 5 times with a pause in between, I can't get it to do anything now, each time I switch it on it just beeps at me. In the manual it says that the 'flood switch' has been activated, I' not sure why, or even what this is, but I'd really like to deactivate it.

Hello my dishwasher seems to only do half a job at a time (and the timings for the programmes have increased dramatically). It will do a programme, but not drain, leave a puddle and leave everything dripping wet (no drying) then if I press reset the machine will drain (so the pump is working) but after resetting the problem remains and the programmes continue to not work properly. Can I solve this myself, or is this a problem with the 'computer'? Please help.......!

Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

My dishwasher is leaving a film on all the dishes some of the times. Other times the appliance works fine but more and more often it is leaving a white film on all the dishes as though the rinse cycle is not working well. I have tried filling the jet dry compartment and have been using the same jet dry and detergent as always. The dishwasher is about ten years old and has been working well up to a few weeks ago. I wanted to heat up a cup of tea. As I've done many times before, I pressed Time, then 1:20 seconds, then I pressed Auto Start, but fear I may have touched the button below it, which says Start in small red print. The oven wouldn't switch on, and I noticed a small green u-shaped mark had appeared at the base of the 1: I pressed Clear, and repeated my movements, making sure this time that I pressed Auto Start. Again, nothing happened. I've cleared the touchpad several times, but the oven won't

Bosch she4am Unit starts briefly, then stops about a minute into the operation and lights the CLEAN led. I located the diagnostics code paper, ran the test a few times, and come up with the same code...the CLEAN led lit indicates a door switch problem. I removed the door switch, it's a magnetic hall effect transistor..seems to work but not sure it's showing proper voltages. It reads 8vdc or so across the switch with door open, and about 11.7vdc with door closed. Seems too narrow a range to me

Model IGV 659.1 Dishwasher When switched on the 'time display' takes longer than 2 minutes to display the planned wash duration. The display works fine to set a delayed start. After cycling the start delay round to 0, or after RESET (buttons A and C pressed) the unit is then 'nudged' into displaying a time. After, at last, a time is displayed the unit works fine.

I have a Bosch 5306 from about 2001. It seems my problem is not unheard of, but the description of the diagnostic routine I've seen is lacking. My problem is this: Poor Cleaning / EXTREMELY Prolonged Cylce Time (i.e., Timer starts off at some time... then jumps UP to longer time... counts down through the cycle... stays on "1" for hours). My dishwasher is brand new Model FDB1502RGS0. I used it for the first time today. It seemed to be cleaning for a very long time. It was up to 2 hours and I had to leave so I turned it off.
