Water won't drain from bottom of dishwasher. I pulled the dishwasher out, blew through the drain tube, disconnected the drain tube and felt around inside. Ok there. The dishwasher has not been in use for 4 months, due to low hot water flow. I replaced a clogged valve today and restored water flow, and I'm wondering if non-use causes a problem with dishwashers?

Re: Bosch Dishwasher Model SHX46B06UC/14 (year 2003) Good afternoon, I have water dripping into my dishwasher when it is not in use, approximately up to 1/2 inch over a few hours. The water collects at the bottom inside the dishwasher. I have to shut off the dishwasher water supply so that it does not overflow. Other than that, the dishwasher works perfect! Any idea as to what has to be replaced? Can I do it myself or do I have to call a technician. Thanks very much for your help.

Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. We have to run a wash cycle to drain and dry out the dishwasher. What do you think the problem is?

Leaky Dishwasher I recently moved into a new house that has a brand new Magic Chef dishwasher. We haven't even had a chance to use it, but last night discovered water leaking from the bottom onto the floor. When I opened the door, there was about 3-4 inches of water inside. I baled as much of the (slimey) water out as I could, and that stopped the leak. Now afraid to run the dishwasher for fear that it might leak even worse. E71195 Type 777-0

Smeg e2 error (water level tripped). Filter is clean and no rubbish below filter on inside of dishwasher. I have taken the front panel off but am not sure where the float device is located - I am wondering if it is just to the left of what looks like a solenoid. There is no water in the base of the unit in the front panel so would rule out any leaks. Reset program and turned off power at socket but still not using hot water. Possible PCB issue ? Slow drain. My dishwasher is draining, but not enough to empty the water out after a normal cycle. This is also causing the rinse cycle to use recycled dirty water in the process. Could this be blocking some of the draining process?
