Having problems with your Karcher K2.26 Electric Power Washer ?

Worked well, then blew the fuse.

\015 Assuming the fuse blew because the motor (or extension lead plug) got wet, I allowed it to dry out for a week, but today I tried to start it up and it blew the fuse straight away. What should I do next?\015

Answers :

What you should do next is stop using an extension lead. As you've already discovered, there's a risk of the connection getting wet, which is potentially very dangerous, but this is probably not the main problem. Most extension leads (the normal domestic type) are simply not capable of carrying the current needed to run your pressure washer.\015\012
\015\012Rather than using an electrical extension, use an extension high-pressure hose and work further away from the machine (which also makes it easier to keep the machine dry).\015\012
\015\012If this doesn't sort the problem, please post here again and we'll try something else.  Good luck!

I started working with the Karcher KB4040 pressure washer and all was well for 1-2mins, then it sputered a bit and all power died. All hoses were still attached properly, it hadn't blown a fuse in my house and the fuse in the plug of the washer is working fine. When I switch it on I get nothing. Do you think the motor has packed in? I borrowed the machine from my neighbour who's away on holiday, so don't know much about age of the machine. Any advice much appreciated.

KUDP01ILBS6 Kitchenaid dishwasher Doesn't work, except flashing lights on front panel. I have the normal light flashing. When I push any other button the cancel light starts blinking as well. I replaced the fuse, the main control board inside and it still doesn't work. Push button panel next fix? This is getting expensive. Could it be something minor? The troubleshooting papers didn't provide much guidance.

We recently purchased a Whirlpool ADP 4736 dishwasher, and just last night while it was working the fuse just blew, and we heard a popping sound at the back of the washer. We tried to replace the fuse, but the same problem. rnAlso, there a lot of water has collected at the bottom of the washer, although the dishes have been cleaned and dry. What could be the problem and the solution for this. All the instructions are in Polish and made in Poland. Please advise?? Many thanks Percy'

Bosch DW model SHU53A05UC/17 was working fine until yesterday evening. Went to turn it on and now get nothing. No lights, no power zip. It's on its own 20amp circuit. Checked the fuse and it's not blown. Flip the breaker on/off a few times anyway to make sure. I was installing a floor and used my miter saw on the sump pump circuit (diff from the DW circuit). It blew the fuse a few times. Any chance, on a diff circuit, it spiked and damaged a board in the DW? What part (part #) would

Dishwasher I have had above integrated dishwasher which is intermittently tripping the mains fuse. My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

I have had an E24 error message on my Siemens freestanding dishwasher. As well as the Error message the the little tap sign lights up too. My dishwasher is leaving a film on all the dishes some of the times. Other times the appliance works fine but more and more often it is leaving a white film on all the dishes as though the rinse cycle is not working well. Water won't stop filling, even when the door is opened. I cleaned the float valve at the front , that worked for a few washings. Or it may be a random occurrence. This dishwasher was purchased in 1993 in Canada, and has always worked well. We do have well water, but it isn't real hard, I put vinegar in about nearly every rinse cycle.
