I have a Fisher Paykel Dishwasher Model 920 that floods (F1 fault) since the Inlet soloniod was replaced. What determines the water level? I dont see any detectors other than the flood switch sensor in the base.
Just had the same F1 error message. I figured the drain lines were clogged so i hooked my compressor up to them and blew air in the lines for about 5 seconds at 60 psi. It is not giving me the error message anymore and seems to be running fine. ... Dishwashers
I have a Hotpoint FDW80 Dishwasher. The drain pump runs continuously, even though there is no water inside, I poured water in with a kettle and it does drain correctly. After a short while fault code AL01 appears. I have removed the base tray to check the "anti-flood" swithch and that is OK, even with the switch disconnected, I still get AL01. Any ideas?

Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

Removed rear toe-plate to detect leak. Leak caused by broken drain hose. Hose replaced. To do this the unit was tipped forward onto its front door to allow access to the base area. Water allowed to drain out the front base area. Unit re-assembled but now does not switch on. Water connected. Base-plate dry. No water was detected at upper-front control panel. Power is connected and reaching unit ( multi-meter test ). Tipping the unit forward seems to be the cause. Is there any fuse,

Bosch Classixx dishwasher: Initially no water feed and 'water check' light came on. Removed side panel, emptied water from base. Ran OK for a week or so. The problem then repeated so side panel removed, float switch operation checked (OK) drained water from sump below polystyrene float. Ran OK but contents came out dirty and cold - no heat. Side panels off again, water in base but no obvious leak when watched during cycle - still no heat. Help please.

Hi can you help me please I have a Zanussi DX6453 dishwasher which has stopped working. Having used the diagnostic facility it has come up with anti flood device, I have done the usual rocking the machine back and forth no sign of water. I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca

SHX46B I have a 4 year old Dishwasher that filled up with clean water on it's own and leaked on the floor. There appears to ba a float switch switch on the very bottom of the unit that runs the pump if this happens. It won't stop until I remove the water caught in the plastic base on the very bottom of the unit. Drain is clear and this machine has worked fine until now. I've had a Miele G892 SCU PLUS dishwasher for a long time. Today a problem started that results in a flooded floor. Water keeps flowing into the dishwasher - even when the unit is turned off. It seeps in very slowly, but within15 minutes there is enough to overflow & flood the floor. My guess is that there must be some kind of sensor that isn't working, or the coresponding mechanical switch that shuts off the water is worn or slightly stuck open a bit? My question is this: once the flood activation switch (F1 error code) has been activated due to water in the tray, will the switch self-set once the lower board area has dried sufficiently, or does it require a board replacement? I have found (I think), and will be correcting the leak, but wanted to make sure the water sensor is healthy or not.

Drainage I have a bosch slimline[13HIB], I have found stagnant water in it.All I have done so far is bail it out and then try and see if there is a blockage in the waste hose by detatching it from the waste pipe and running water back through it. There was no debris in the filters that sit at the base of the machine.Should I run a quick wash or is there a chance that it will fill with water and I'll flood the kitchen?

Leaking FDW60 I have a Hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher. yesterday it tripped our house electrics and then we had water flooding out of the dishwasher. Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB740RC. Not cleaning dishes well. Just in the past couple weeks. When the dishwasher fills with water, how full should it get. When mine fills, it definitely doesn't go up to the element, and just barely makes it to the float switch (not enough to trigger it), makes it to just below the base of it, doesn't come up the side of it at all. Is this normal, or should there be more water. The Water valve has been replaced already.
