Small Object in the drain area

\015 We have what we believe to be a piece of glass which slipped between the slats and into the drain area. Removed the rotor trying to get down to the area and remove it. But can't seem to find out how to do so.\015

Answers :

The glass will definitely cause problems when it gets into the small pump that pumps the water out of the dishwasher and up the hose into the sink drain. Remove the lower front panel on the dishwasher, undo the hose clamp holding the hose to the pump. Remove the screws holding the pump to the frame. Now you can look into the pump and remove the chunk of glass with a tweezer.
