My Kenmore Elite dishwasher (model 665.17462300) is not spraying the water from the basin in the bottom up through the rest of the dishwasher. The basin fills with water, then just makes a humming noise and appears to splash a little of the water around the very bottom of the dishwasher. When we cancel the cycle, it does drain out the water from the basin. I cleaned all the gunk and debris out of the basin in the bottom, but it didn't make any difference.

Hi, I have a Kenmore 15879 that is basically working except the bottom water spinner...lol (don't know technical name). The dishwasher pumps the water into the bottom of the dishwasher, will heat the water, but not disperse the water in the spinning sprinkler manner it's suposed to. I've opened the dishwasher in time to see that water is spurting out of the holes about 2" high, but it's just not spinning. The water also drains just fine after the whole cycle.

I have checked the air vent, garbage disposal unit and the filter in the bottom of the dishwasher (which was filthy). I cleaned the filter and everything else looks okay, but it is still leaving some water in the tub.

Our Hotpoint Dishwasher Model HDA200X-73BA has two little white plastic pipe stubs poking out of the bottom of the dishwasher. Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. I was replacing my sink faucet today and in the process turned the water off to the dishwasher. Subsequently my girlfriend ran the dishwasher without the water on! Now when I go to run the dishwasher no water comes out (meanwhile I've turned the water to the dishwasher back on). Is there some kind of reset? I accidently touched the coil in the bottom of the dishwasher just after trying to run it and it was hot. What do you recommend? Thanks. Mark
