Blown thermo-fuse twice

\015 I have a kenmore free standing dishwasher has ran fine for 3 yaers but 2 weeks ago blew thermo fuse leaving water in bottom of unit. I pulled front panel found blown thermo fuse and raplaced it. Dishwasher ran fine for 1 week but did same thing last night. dishes appear clean like it ran full cycle but failed before rinse water pumped out. Thermo fuse is blown again, so before putting another new one in and not finding problem I am looking for trouble shooting advice. would partially clogged water drain cause wiring high enough amp draw to blow fuse. As it appears that wash went fine am I correct in thinking problem is in water pump out cycle? When I replace fuse again will there be diagnostic codes in place? Thanks for the help, great site!\015

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

My Samsung DMR77LHS dishwasher has lost power completely near the end of a cycle. About an inch of water remains. I have power to the unit. I checked the 15 amp fuse in the unit - it had blown.
