Dishwasher does not dry the dishes thoroughly

\015 We are having to hand-dry our dishes. The tops of the drinking items on the top shelf contain more water than usual, and the items on the bottom shelf are needing hand-dried as well. We are wondering if there is a quick fix, or a major problem we are dealing with. We stack our dishes inside the washer appropriately.\015\012\015\012Kayzy\015

I have a GE dishwasher with poor drying. One service call said to make your water hotter and us a jet dry rinse. Not any better. Another call went to GE, this time they have a vent kit to help push out the steam and the computer will be reprogrammed to allow a longer dry time. Will have this done when the parts arrive at my home. Then the repair man will install and make computer adjustments. Looks like GE knows they have a problem but won't fix it until you complain more than once and demand a fix.\012 For all GE dishwasher owners with this problem start calling the customer service.

Had the same problem and the answer is to stop putting plastic in the machine ! It seems the dishwashers need the heat radiated from the Ceramic plates, stell knives etc to help dry. The plastic simply absorbs some water and then your dishwahser spends most of its drying time trying to get that water out again. Also Plastic doesn't radiate any heat to help. As soon as we stopped putting plastic plates and tupperware containers in, hey presto the dishes are drying again

We haave a Frigidare FGHD2433KB1 dishwasher that we installed in September of 2010. Already it is not working and we are 2 highway hours from the place where we bought it. Sometimes the detergent doesn't open, sometimes dishes are not dry, recently the PF light has been coming on - yet no other appliance has had power interrupted. I am thoroughly disgusted with this machine and there are only two of us in the house so it get light use and we rinse our dishes well before placing in dishwasher.

I have tall tub model: LDF7920WW. It is not drying thoroughly; the walls are full of condensation & dishes are damp. I operate the dishwasher late at night & unload the following morning. I do not use chemicals like these in my home, let alone on my dishes. Is this the only probability of my

Dishwasher fills tub continuously until float turns it off whether in cyle, during drying or after cyle complete. That means during drying when the dishwasher is trying to dry the dishes the tub fills up preventing drying. This is a new dishwasher that I've never used. I allways noticed the tub was full of water, but thought that was just to keep the seals moist so they don't rot. I've been in my house 5 years and only hand washed my dishes because it was more convienient. Now that there ar

I have a GE Profile Dishwasher, Model# PDW7880J03SS that doesnt dry the dishes. I have mold in my dishwasher. This happened about 6 mos ago and I used the vinegar and scrub method to get rid of it...it was a pain in the fanny! Now the mold is back...the dishwasher has also not been drying the dishes very well either, although in truth it never has. There must be some other reason that the mold is back! Oh, and I've used Jet Dry since I bought the machine 7 years ago, and have tried the ''leave the door open to dry the dishes'' .... any thoughts?

My Bosch dishwasher has been failing to clean my dishes for over a month now. I just purchased an LDF6920. It does not dry the dishes. In fact, there is water remaining in the bottom, and all the dishes and drum and door are beaded with water. It suggests putting some sort of water removing chemical, but I have never owned a dishwasher that did not made some effort to dry the dishes. I have to hand dry or have spots on everything. I am very, very disappointed with my new, and expensive, purchase.

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher.
