After I run the dishwasher, water stands at the bottom and it smells. I have had the dishwasher for five years. The washer seems to be working properly it's just that water stands at the base of the washer. Is it normal for water to always stand there?

No it's not normal, you are probably having some cloge in the drain pipe, you could try with a pice of wire to pick it up or hose it down, or use some comercial unplaguners like mr. muscle or something like that, i think that this would do the trick ... GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher leaking Our dishwasher all of a sudden started leaking. I've taken the front panel off the door and can see exactly where. It's not a hole or anything...it's at the front, left edge of the basin, the bottom left corner at the front. It seems that right after it fills with water, it starts to leak once water is moving around inside and washing cycle starts. It is as if big waves are being pushed to the front left corner and over the lip of the basin. I don't think the water level is to

My Miele Platnum dishwasher is not working. It is flashing "intake/drain" When it begins instead of the normal hearing of water moving around you just hear a humming. My husband and father took out all the filters/baskets etc and made sure everything was cleaned out. They checked the hoses. After that it seemed like it was going to work because it started to cycle normally but now it is flashing again and this time there was water standing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Any thoughts?

Most common faults with dishwashers is a drain fault. Check for any kinked hoses and check the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects into the u bend. Usually this is where food gets trapped due to the spigot not being drille ... Miele 23 in. Novotronic G841 Built-In Dishwasher

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

My DX303 is constantly bringing up error 30. I have had it apart, and there are no water leaks. If I pour water into it, it will drain no worries, however it seems like it wants to continuously drain with this error 30. Sometimes it will come good and go through its complete cycle hassle free, but it's not now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

When washing dishes, the washer drains okay at the end of the cycle. However, ir seems that for some reason in the mornings we are finding water in the bottom of the dishwasher--sometimes so much that some has leaked out to the floor. When the drain cycle is turned on, the water goes out okay? Any advice?

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

I have a Bosch SHU43C. I have a leak it seems to come out from the door. I removed the front panel. Inspected the seal and all seemed smooth and not damaged in any way. So I decided to run the machine. Waited for a few minutes and the water leaked from both corners at the same time. The water settled in the rubber trough under the door. Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. I have a Zanussi dishwasher model DA 6141. For some time now it has not been completely discharging the water at the end of a cycle. But sometime it does completely dicharge. Two days ago it started leaking water from its bottom at the end of a cycle.I tried to locate the leak but was unsucessfuly. All the external plumbing is ok andf there is no leak from the discharge pipe nor water intake pipe. So perhaps its something to do with the water pump?

Smeg DWF612WH dishwasher has developed a leak. Water comes out of the rectangular hole on the side of the water softner used to mount what looks like a level or pressure switch. A few seconds after the fill valve opens water leaks out, not a lot just a small trickle. After the washer has filled and goes ito its cycle, it does not leak again. Over the past weeks the problem has got progressively worse.

Dishwasher Leaking Dishwasher leaks from underneath the right front side of appliance. Can't tell exactly where it's leaking from, because of plastic guard/support on underside. All of the connections and hoses are in good shape. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the draining process, as it will leak 2-3 times during a wash cycle. Sometimes it's very little water and sometimes it's as much as a gallon.
