Having problems with your Kenmore Dishwashers ?

Kenmore 17533200 diswasher runs good washes fine but it has become very noisey when it washes ?

Answers :

The problem with it is that your dishwasher is unbalanced. You are going to have to find out why. On the bottom of the dishwasher is a motor and a big disc, they are attached with a belt . After the power has been turned off to the unit, move the belt in a direction slowly and watch the disc. If it does not turn evenly (ie no side to side motion) then there might be a problem with your pump. If it does though then you have to find the thing that it making it go off balance. Look in the inside around the sprayers, their are sometime more than one. If their is something that is jammed up around the shaft, clean it out. If it looks ok, go to the bottom side again and try to wiggle the disc. If it has a lot of play you may have to adjust the tension on the disc. Pull out the owners manual and look for a tightening tension. There should be a bolt or screw somewhere. If it is cracked, then too bad so sad, you are going to have to get it repaired unless you are really handy with tearing dishwashers apart.

During wash cycle it gets stuck and won't move past the wash cycle. On a regular wash it is at 28minutes and when it is on a fast wash it is at 25 minutes. If I stop it and turn on the rinse cycle it will run through the 12minute rinse cycle with no problems. It is only the top dishwasher that does this, the bottom one is running just fine.

A few days ago the dish washer was running fine, maybe a single wash every day. Then, out of no were the logic seems to have left the machine. If you pressed the "normal cycle" button it would blink for about 30 to 45 seconds then the front panel would go blank. All LED lights would turn off, like it finished doing the diskes, never running a single cycle. I unplugged the machine to let all circuits reset, that worked for two days, two washes in that time. My lower rack will not clean bowls or cups and I have to be very careful how I place plates. The serviceman has been out twice and I have run vinegar through multiple times with no improvement. My top rack is working fine. I have tried running it on different settings and we have verified that the lower wash arm seems to be spinning. The temperature seems to be fine. Even glasses placed on the lower rack that weren't very dirty seem to have a scum in them when finished. Any ideas?

I received a second-hand as-is Akso D3530 (model #107353001) dishwasher. It washes perfectly fine, but at the end of the cycle, it keeps running.
