Having problems with your Kenmore Dishwashers ?

Kenmore Dishwasher model 665.1675592 doesn't seem to wash as well as it used to. Seems to have a low water level. Filler valve works, allows water in, but never seems to fill enough. No spray reaches top shelf, I think due to insufficient water level. It's like the timer doesn't stay on long enough for it to fill. Also cycle time seems WAY up, but if the timer is slow, how does it time out filling so fast? Looks like it would be slow all the time. Suggestions?

Maytag Dishwasher I would like to know the proper water level after DW fills. Older Whirlpool units a quick guide was when water just covered heater. I have a new D/W and the water supply is difficult to access, there is a kink in the water line slowing the water flow. The D/W fills to bottom of heater, but because the unit is so quiet I can't determine if it is timing out or working properly. I intend to repair water line when counter work is done. Thanks for any help Gary

D1876 Asko dishwasher doesn't fill. It runs fine if I manually fill the unit with a couple of pitchers of water. Likely culprits seem to be a faulty water level sensor or water fill valve. Any suggestions on how to proceed with troubleshooting/repair?

We have a Sears Ultra Wash III dishwasher, model 665.1677993, bought in October, 1995. It is not filling with enough water to get the dishes clean. I took the water valve out and looked at it and it seems okay. It doesn't look like the valve is opening all the way - just my guess. A small stream of water comes out with good pressure, but it is a small stream. I can't find any screens or filters in the water line coming in. The fill cycle lasts only about a minute. Is that adequate? Steve

There should be another letter after the p in your model number. If it's just a B then there are no parts available for that model. Typically a dishwasher will fill for 90 seconds or more. One minute or less sounds like you have a control board is ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

Item: Whirlpool Ultra Dishwasher Age: 3 yrs Problem: Not enough water to effectively wash the dishes. State: When the dishwasher is started, the fill valve opens as normal. Only about 1/2 the amount of water is let in when the pump turns on and the washing cycle begins. Opening the door shows that the water level does not reach the bottom of the float. When I close the door, the wash cycle begins again but stops after a few seconds. This is when the water begins to fill again. This time, the wat

I have a Kitchen Aid Superba KUDS24SEBS1. The inlet water pressure is good and the dishwasher fills and starts the wash cycle, however, after the initial spray of water, it seems that all of the water drains out and there is nothing left to continue the cycle and wash the dishes. It's like it's not able to fill up enough to wash the dishes.

Fills with water, sounds like it starts to pump water then stops, then start again. It attempts to start pumping water 3 or 4 times them turns off leaving the water in the tub. I have read about the water needing to heat up for the cycle to advance. When I check the water that is left in the tub it is warm but not hot. The heating element is not hot either. I did a continuity test on the heating element and it seems to check out ok. I also did a continuity test on the red wire from the heating e

Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with enough water despite good water pressure. Therefore, pump sounds like it is cycling from pumping water for about 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds to pumping water for 2 seconds to going dry for 2 seconds, etc. Spray arms rotate only for the 2 seconds when pump is actually pumping water. Dishes do not get clean.

Bosch Integra SHU 9955US/12 - when we start wash cycle, the detergent dispenses and the tub fills with water, but the wash cycle never starts (never spins spray bars). Hello I have a Quiet Power 3 dishwasher that is leaving food residue on my dishes. The dishwasher is 2.5 years old and all of a sudden this problem is happening. I have not changed dishwasher soap. I have a Bosch SHU43C05UC diswasher. Last night, I put it on before going to bed as usual. I was awakened a couple of hours later to a loud grinding sound (like a pump being run dry), and found the noise coming from the dishwasher. The dishwasher doesn't seem to have nearly enough water in it. The upper sprayer arm doesn't seem to be spinning when running (I open the door and look really quick) and the lower one looks like it barely spins and barely sprays water.
