Answers :

Yes. There are 6x screws holding the control panel take them out and you will see the board. There should be a thermal/ or bi metal fuse attached to the board. Change it and you should be back in business soon.\012

KitchenAid dishwasher: KUDS01FL - I have had to replace the fuse every year and now I can't even get through on cycle with the fuse going. It is now dead again! It almost makes it through the full cycle and then stops (fuse blows)- no power - and there is some water left in the bottom which I have to physically remove. I spent a fortune on repairs every year since I bought it and would like to try to avoid another charge. I appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you, Carol

I would check the pump. It may be slightly jammed or have debris which is causing it not to fully move or cause it to move very hard popping the breaker. Me service man never did that and when I asked him about it he said that is not the problem and would not replace it. So, before I just scrap my diswasher and but a new one I thought i would order another fuse k

The dishwasher stop during the wash cycle. It did finish draining the water from the tub. The machine is not showing a power signs, I check the circuit breaker and the fuse is not tripped. I open and closed the door and the door latch seems to be working fine. There is just no power to the washer. Leaking This is a problem that I have when the dishwasher is in drying mode. I will find a 5X5 and sometimes smaller, size water spot under the dishwasher after the dishwasher has stopped. I was told it was the vent were the steam comes out and I had that replaced. It still leaks, then they told me to replace the rubber around the door, still leaks now they order a whole new plastic interior door. Please if you have any ideas what could be causing the problem, please let me know. Thank you

I have a Whirlpool DU1055XTSS dishwasher that completely stopped working. I took it apart, found the thermal fuse to be bad, ordered a new, then replaced it and it worked for 2 loads. Now the thermal is open again. What could be "taking it out"? Is the thermal fuse strictly a thermal or does it repsond to current? It's 2 years old, i have already replaced the heating element, the main control board, and now the thermal....twice.

I have a 6th sense dishwasher purchased new October 2004. It has been working properly and then has just stopped the next time I tried to use it - it will not turn on no matter what buttons I push - no response. I have checked the power out let with another appliance and that works so it is not the power supply from the power point. I can only think it must be a fuse or the controller. Power off I have an ASKO D3100 Dishwasher, which is a few years old now. It stopped working a while ago where the power went off and stayed off (no lights anywhere). I've checked the power point and it's okay. I've flipped the dishwasher over to look inside and I can't see a fuse or anything that looks helpful. Can someone help me troubleshoot this one?

I have an 8 year-old Kenmore 665.16912 dishwasher. Worked fine until two days ago. Then it stopped working altogether: nothing lights up on the front panel. I have checked the 120 in the electrical box, the door switch is working, the thermal fuse is working and there is 120 volts at the white and black connections to the timer control board. I bought a new timer control board for $120 and that did not fix the problem. What else could be causing the unit to completely stop working?

Dishwasher Dilema Hi, Can someone help me solve this problem. Last time I had a problem with my dishwashers I was pretty successful in solving it on this site. I was running a reg wash on the top drawer of my Fisher&Paykel when I suddendly had to stop it in the middle of a wash to add more dishes (something I do all the time) suddenly both screens started beeping with an F1 along with a wrench. It sounds like both motors top and bottom are running full blast. I tried shutting the power for a few
