Having problems with your KitchenAid 24 in. KUDI01FLSS Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have a 5 year old KUDI01FLSS and it fills with water but does not spray water arround durring cycle (it does sound like it is working though). It will also drain the water when I hit cancel. I cleaned the filter screens but they were in good shape. I now suspect that it is the pump assembly. Anyone know if that is the direction I should head?

Answers :

Yes, you are on the right track, the pump may have something in it clogging up a little bit so that it doesn't have enough water pressure to spin the spray arm. Clean out the pump and see if that helps is your best bet since it is working otherwise. Is water still coming out of the spray arm though?

Let me know how this works out for you.

We have a Sears Ultra Wash III dishwasher, model 665.1677993, bought in October, 1995. It is not filling with enough water to get the dishes clean. I took the water valve out and looked at it and it seems okay. It doesn't look like the valve is opening all the way - just my guess. A small stream of water comes out with good pressure, but it is a small stream. I can't find any screens or filters in the water line coming in. The fill cycle lasts only about a minute. Is that adequate? Steve

There should be another letter after the p in your model number. If it's just a B then there are no parts available for that model. Typically a dishwasher will fill for 90 seconds or more. One minute or less sounds like you have a control board is ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

My dishwasher (Kenmore Elite 665) doesn't use up all the detergent in the detergent cup - it always leaves a little behind at the end of the cycle. the dishes don't get quite as clean any more, either. I recently replaced my old water heater - we were getting lots of little plastic pieces in our faucet screens. I'm guessing that the water pressure may be low, and that it may be due to the same problem. Is there a screen-type filter that filters the incoming water, before it enters th

I have an LG dishwasher, model LDS 5811ww. The machine fills with water, then stops filling when the error code IE comes on. I have cleaned the inlet filter and the whole inside of the tub, by taking apart the sump filter. There is good water pressure filling the tank. When I turn off the power and restart any cycle, the pump will empty the tank, then begin filling the tank again...until it is stopped by the error code IE again coming on. The other thing I notice is the water level in the tub.

I have a brand new Miele dishwasher which has worked grate since it was installed 2 weeks ago. It keeps shutting itself off & indicates an F13 fault. I looked in the manual, see that water is going in fine & pressure is good. It then says to clean water intake filter. How do I get to that ? I don't have a user maintenance manual. I'm on city water & doubt that the filter is clogged but My wife will kill me if I don't get it fixed today. Can anyone help. Glenn

Hi, I have a Miele dishwasher G2150 that after 7-10 minutes on any cycle the rinse, dry, and end lights flash amber. I have a Bosch SHU9915UC/U11 dishwasher, installed in 2002. Recently, our hot water heater had to be replaced, and we were without hot water for five days.
