Our dishwasher is much louder during cycle, Argh!

\015 I've made some simple repairs to this machine like relpacing the tension cord. The extended service contract is expired and now the machine is making a much louder noise during the intitial cycle and at times throughout. \015\012Dishes are getting clean but sounds like the machine is working much harder. Sounds like the pumps are working overtime! Any help would be very much appreciated...\015

\015\012I would wonder if the noise you hear ins't simply just a result of usage, as things age and wear they often, sort of "Loosen up" and this will cause an increase in noise level. As long as the dishes are clean, i suspect there is no actual Fault with your unit. For instance my machine makes quite a racket if you listen to it, which is why i set it to run when i am asleep... I would simply suggest you keep any eye, or Ear... on the situation, and see if anything worsens, as i say this just maybe how the machine is?\015\012

When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

Hi I have a Bosch sms 4012 dishwasher that was in our house when we bought it around 14yrs ago.It really has been an excellent appliance but for the past few months the control knobs have become 'sticky'and relatively hard to turn. Now the dishwasher is not completing the cycle properly by stopping intermittantly, taking almost double the cycle time to complete and not draining properly. Do you think this is just a blockage in the drainage system or something much more complex requiring a technic

All of a sudden, my Kenmore dishwasher (Model 363.1411691) will not cycle. When I lock it shut and try to set it to wash, all I hear is a click--no motor running, no water sounds. As I advance the timer knob, I just get clicks where each cycle should begin. There is standing water in the bottom of the dishwasher which does not drain out. Any advice would be much appreciated, for sure.

The dishwasher isn't cleaning well and doesn't use much rinse agent. I have tried and tried to figure out why the dishwasher isn't washing dishes well and I can't figure it out. I haven't called the manufacturer yet and maybe I should. I've changed the cycles and that doesn't matter. First thing is that it doesn't really use very much rinse agent, so my glasses look yucky. Second thing is that I can tell it hasn't cleaned the dishes well because the inside of the door isn't clean. With a s

It is not connected to a garbage disposal and we only see a small amount of water in the bottom of tub when the dishwasher is off. When I use the sanitize cycle, it seems that the smell is even more intense, not sure if that could be do to a small amount of steam escaping on the highest setting ? Dishwasher Leaking Dishwasher leaks from underneath the right front side of appliance. Can't tell exactly where it's leaking from, because of plastic guard/support on underside. All of the connections and hoses are in good shape. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the draining process, as it will leak 2-3 times during a wash cycle. Sometimes it's very little water and sometimes it's as much as a gallon.

Dishwasher problem Our Asko 1353 dishwasher stops halfway through its's wash cycle. I suspected the thermostat, as it seemed loose in it's holder and not tight against the tub. After I tightened the holder the problem is still the same. Too much resistance from bad thermostat? How do I check the thermostat before I order a new one?
