Kleenmaid DW10 dishwasher has blown motor. Everything else works fine. Service guy said part has to come from Brandt in France. About 6-8 weeks but no guarantee if it will arrive at all due to Kleenmaid's problems. Any other time and cost effective way of replacing the motor?

Time and cost effective way = have the electric motor repaired. All an electrician needs to do is to rewind the coils inside the motor and replace the brush... you will save around 80% if you will just have it repaired plus, it would only take 1 week ... Dishwashers

Ultra Wash Hi, When I got up this morning, I noticed the dishes were still dirty and dry??  The soap dispenser had popped open but that was about it.  I had some work done on it because it wasn't cleaning the dishes properly about a year ago and they replaced the motor.  While cleaning the kitchen last night, I heard it come on, but now that I think about it, I never actually heard the water start sloshing around. I don't have the owner's manual - I bought this house 3 years ago and I think the

FDW60 dishwasher Hi My dishwasher is about 15 months old and the problem I have is that it seems to stay on pump and the Ecco45 light is flashing.  A repair company looked at the machine and said that the motor looked like it was leaking and water was getting in the bottom setting off the micro-switch.  He contacted Hotpoint who fitted a new motor today at a cost of £89.85.  Went to use dishwasher tonight and we still have the same problem.  The dishwasher started the washing programme for about

I've just (as of 10 minutes ago) had the same problem. I followed the advice given elsewhere in this forum and removed the bottom cover - water running out so needed a big towel to mop it up. My Maytag model mdb9600aws motor shaft seal is leaking. How do I remove the seal and replace a new one. I am a novist, but I have taken the motor completely out and replaced the seal / gasket that the motor sits in, but there still is a leak. I am afraid the leak is going to destroy the motor as it has corrosion / salt like stuff about the motor. I have attempted to pry the shaft off with the use of 2 screw drivers. I was thinking since I am going to replace the whole motor shaft seal and chop

Something is causing the DW motor not to fire (so water is not sprayed around). It fills fine. It drains fine. I've tested the motor - it also works. I've tried all the various cycle choices; all do the same thing. Water fills but is not pushed around the tub (absolutely no motion from the motor, whatsoever). There was some debri down in the bottom, but I've cleaned it all out, wiped everything clean, and still no motor activation.

I could only get so much stuff out to clean before it looked like to go any further, I would need to gain access through the bottom. Are there more filters in the motor area which might need cleaning? I read that it could be the vario motor. Can I test this? and if s

I have a Generac pressure washer, model #01450-0, with a Honda 5hp motor. The motor runs fine, but the pressure hose pulsates as if the pump is intermittently making pressure, and the pressure out of the sprayer is about half of what it should be. The water does not reach the level of the overfill float switch, so that’s not it. Its been working fine for 4-5 years, what else could it be? Thank you.

LG dishwasher LDS4821BB just started making a new grinding sound while washing. No similar sounds while filling or draining, so I wouldn't think it is the motor assembly like many answers suggest. We installed it March 2009. This sound may be similar to one which led to the motor assembly being replaced while still under warranty about nine months ago. Unfortunately, the LG repairman was too hard of hearing to be able to diagnose that replacement, so he did it based on our description of

Hi. I have a 3 year old LG dishwasher. It will not drain. Display shows OE. I completely cleaned the drain assembly inside the DW. I checked the discharge line, it is completely clean. I disconnected the drain line from the air vent assembly at the sink and ran the DW, still will not drain. I disconnected the discharge pump wires and ran current directly, the pump works. I replaced the main control PCB, still will not drain. Please advise. Thanks

We have had this dishwasher for approximately 2 years. Dishes do not clean well. For example, I put a mixing bowl in that I just mixed brownie in--and the bowl did not come clean (simply a thick chocolate mix). Glasses do not come clean. They always have a fine residue on the outside (food). My husband just took the (blades) out that spin and dispense water and cleaned them. The water volume seems better now.
